Say hi to the deer as you stroll to the beach...abundant with tide pools, seals and otters. Walk, run or bike along the nature trail - we have 5 bikes for your use. Have a BBQ as you watch the sunset.

The Unique Benefits at this House
Asilomar is the best of both worlds, with the forest in the front yard and the ocean behind you. We are a 1-1/2 block walk to the beach, tidepools....and the magnificent Monterey Coastal trail -- which stretches for miles from Spanish Bay to Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf. If you like to bike, feel free to use one of ours - there are 5. Our property is over 1/2 an acre, a real private retreat. The house has been completely redone inside, and has all new furnishings and a country farmhouse feel. A few blocks down the road is the Pt. Pinos Lighthouse and golf course. Downtown Pacific Grove, with all its quaint restaurants and shops, is a two minute drive away - a nice walk too. Watch the sunset, bbq, go out, stay in. And end your night in front of the fireplace, watching the latest Academy Award dvds.

We are a family of writers from Los Angeles. Pacific Grove is our favorite place on the planet. On vacation a few summers ago, we took a walk and found ourselves in the backyard of the most beautiful property for sale. We went temporarily insane and somehow ended up buying it.
