Randolph House is a charming Victorian beach cottage built in 1898 in the historic town of Cape Charles Virginia. Randolph house comfortably accommodates 9-12 people with three private bedrooms, two family rooms, a dining room, game room, small office with wireless DSL access, kitchen, and 2.5 baths. The house is located five blocks to a beautiful sandy beach, and one block to Cape Charles’ historic main street with an Irish Pub, restaurants, upscale boutiques and a coffee shop. Painted, updated, and furnished in 2007 this house has refinished hardwood floors, a completely remodeled kitchen, and updated bathrooms.
Guests can relax on the front and side porches or in either of the family rooms. The game room features puzzles, games and books for all ages. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. The Star-Fish bedroom includes a four poster queen size bed with pillow-top mattress and satellite TV (sleeps 2). The Sand-Dollar Bedroom includes an antique iron double bed with pull out twin trundle and TV/VCR (sleeps 3). The Seashell bedroom has a twin bed, bunk bed and pull out trundle (sleeps 4). The upstairs family room has a pull out double sofa bed, satellite TV, and DVD/VCR player (sleeps 2). There is also a twin pull out bed in the downstairs family room (sleeps 1). The Kitchen is stocked with everything you will need for your stay and combined seating in the kitchen and dining room can accommodate 10-14 people. Just off the kitchen is a small laundry room with a washer and dryer.
The entire town of Cape Charles is listed on the National Register of Historic places making it a unique beach getaway. Enjoy undiscovered beaches, golf on Jack Nicholas and Arnold Palmer signature courses, or take a fishing trip and experience some of the best fishing on the East Coast. History buffs can take a self guided walking tour of homes dating from 1883 - 1920. Stroll along the beach and take in the most amazing sunset at the town pier or walk/bike throughout the entire town on safe quiet streets. Make sure to take a day trip up the peninsula to visit local wineries, as well as historic homes and plantations.
