Regardless of the season there’s always plenty to do in Lake Tahoe. If you want to stay in a quiet central Tahoe location that is close to many beautiful destinations such as Chambers Landing 1.8 mi. Emerald Bay (15 min), Truckee River (10 min), Sugar Pine State Park (next door), the lake (2 minutes) you’ve come to the right place!
The cabin is tucked in the trees, at the end of a quiet street (one lot from Sugar Pine Park) and just a short walk to the lake and some of the best trails on the West Shore. We are local Tahoma residents. Just ask us for area information.

We have rented this cabin 3 or 4 times now over the years and keep coming back. The cabin is clean and has the good amenities (wifi, cable, surround sound, etc.). Bob allows dogs which is a necessity for us. Great location - super close to Homewood and Blackwood Canyon (great place to snowshoe/cross-country ski with your dogs). Great value!! Will definitely be back next year! Thanks again Bob.

Greetings, Our stay was so wonderful here! We got there just before a storm and watched snowfall out the living room window. Our kids were so excited seeing the snow! We played outside, made snowcream, sled next door. It was such a great winter vacation that we are now planning this winter's vacation. I was so pleased with Bob's great and caring way of doing business. It was such perfect!

Hi Bob, We received the deposit check, thanks. Just wanted to thank you for a wonderful stay at your place. We loved being right next to snow covered trees of Sugar Pine Point park and away from all the congestion and density of South Tahoe. And thanks for keeping your rental so affordable! Thanks for also allowing us to bring our dog, who is very much a member of our family. He had a great time visiting the other neighborhood pooches on his walks. Our two human kids loved the comfortable, spacious home and my husband was impressed by the Bose speakers. I loved your communal shelf of spices, teas, etc. that were so convenient, as well as made our stay more convenient/affordable. I didn't have to buy several condiments that I would only have used a squirt or shake out of. We also like the quick, easy access to Homewood, that echoes the area's simpler, quieter, friendlier atmosphere of the neighborhood than the big circus-like ski resorts. And we could'nt have timed our trip better! We were treated to awesome powder on the slopes and had a great time Spring skiing and snowboarding. Dear Bob & Julie- Thank you so much! We had a great time. The kids loved the sleds. We found a great sledding spot in Sugar Pine Point Park, right on the lake. We skiied Heavenly and Homewood and liked Homewood much better. The kitchen and washer/dryer were well used. We hope we left it almost as clean as we found it. Sincerely, The Gerlachs
