Nestled against Black Forest but with views of Pike's Peak and the entire front range from New Mexico to Colorado Springs, River Rock Retreat offers quiet seclusion on several acres. A beautiful country home with a formal living room, family room, and dining room. The views are spectacular from every window. The peace and solitude will allow a real retreat from the hustle and bustle of the big city.
The city is not far away, however. Ten minutes to the nearest shopping area, twenty minutes to the Olympic Training Center and the Air Force Academy. Then, return to the silence of the country for a good night's sleep.
Within two hours is every kind of winter/mountain recreation possible. Breckenridge ski area is convenient and easily reached by taking Highway 24 west. Denver is only 45 minutes north on Highway 83.
Denver International Airport is 1 hour north. Colorado Springs Airport is 30 minutes south.
Bring jackets and sweaters as the chill begins at sundown, even in the summer. In the winter, come prepared for the occasional blizzard and the gloriously sunny days in between.
