We have been vacationing in Hilton Head and at this home for more than 20 years. It is our home away from home. We have just recently acquired this wonderful home and hope you enjoy your time there as much as we do. We have two boys who have grown up here. Our time always goes so fast as there is so much to do. Since it is only two blocks to the beach we either walk or ride bikes.There are many restaurants we enjoy - Crazy Crab, Kurama, Outback, Oyster Factory, Truffles - to name a few. Harbortown is awesome with the many shops, entertainment, and large play area. There are several movie theatres, movie rentals, grocery stores, water sports, and....yes... Starbucks!
Our home is located at 26 Deer Run Lane in Baynard Cove Subdivision in Sea Pines. Only two blocks from the beach. The bike trails are all around the house which makes the ride to South Beach, Plantation Club, and Harbortown so convenient.
Our yard has many trees and at times the deer will come into the yard. WE have just landscaped the back yard to include a fenced in area around a beautiful pool with a picturesque waterfall. It provides quite a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
There are 3 bedrooms - the Master bedroom has a large walk-in closet, newly refinished bathroom, king size bed, and storm quality Pella sliding glass door leading outside with the convenient inside screen. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and the third bedroom has a queen bed. One of the comfortable sofas pulls out to make another queen bed. Fully "furnished" kitchen with dishes, flatware, pots, pans, coffee pot, blender, etc. Ceiling fans throughout, cable TV in every bedroom as well as in the family room. Recently updated (2008) with new furniture throughout - chosen and decorated by a professional decorator. Corion bathroom and kitchen countertops. Stone fireplace. New kitchen appliances, new washer and dryer. Entire home newly painted and new carpet. Showers in each bathroom have the rounded curtain rods providing more space in the shower. WIFI. Phone with free long distance within the Continental US. The family room has the storm quality sliding glass door leading to the patio. Our home is located in a quiet neighborhood providing peace and privacy.

Why the Owner Chose Baynard Cove
Our home is located in a quiet neighborhood on a corner lot and is only 2 blocks from the beach. The bike path is just behind us. It is located in the center of Sea Pines and convenient to South Beach as well as Harbor Town where there is always something interesting to do. We chose this area because it offers the quiet of a neighborhood area but is also quite close to a variety of fun activities to include a variety of dining activities. The atmosphere - both inside our home and out is wonderful - we never tire of being there and always leave wishing we could stay longer.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We enjoy bike riding, movies, eating out, visiting with neighbors, and, of course, going to the beach! We have a very peaceful yard and many times we enjoy sitting outside reading a book and enjoying the view.

We have been vacationiong in Hilton Head since my oldest son was born. We currently live in Nebraska and love to get away to the beach every chance we get. There is so much to do and something for all of us and at every age. I am a nurse and my husband works for Burlington Northern Sante Fe Railroad so when we get a chance to get away Hilton Head has been the perfect place for us to be able to get together and relax.
This photo was taken in 2009 - just before our oldest son graduated from highschool. He is now a Marine and we are so proud of him. Our youngest son is 15 (will be 16 in October 2010) and is preparing for college. It is hard to believe how time passes and we are so blessed to have such a beautiful place to come together on vacation where there is always something to interest each of us - or nothing if we choose to stay home (with TV).

My husband and I stayed here over Thanksgiving with my parents, daughter and friend and our golden retriever. House was perfect for our group. Loved the big dining room and table -we were able to host the Thanskgving dinner with other friends on the island. Two other small things that really showed they thought of everything - huge plush beach towels and big coffee mugs! So much better to have your morning coffee by the sound of the waterfall into the pool when you don't have to get up every 5 min for more coffee. By the second day, our dog knew the way to the beach - walkway is right across the street and goes directly to a great stretch of beach. Great family room to watch the big games. Nice bathrooms. Bedrooms were also very nice and had lots of space to spread out. House was immaculate - our friends couldn't believe it was a pet friendly property - apparently they've had some bad luck with stinky places. Would recommend this to anyone - great property.

My wife and I and another couple stayed at this home for two weeks. The location was teriffic to both Harbour Towne and South Beach. The home was clean and well furnished. The owner was very easy to deal with and everything was exactly as she told us. Welcome basket was very nice. Would recommend this property. Look foreward to renting again as this was our 22nd year at Hilton Head Island.

This is our second time staying at this wonderful home in Sea Pines. As usual, it was immaculate when we arrived and a nice welcome gift of goodies was awaiting us. We noticed that an outdoor grill had been added and we certainly took advantage of it. We love the backyard of this house so much that we did not go to the beach very much. The waterfall feature of the pool makes it very relaxing. We also realized that there are NO mosquitoes in the backyard, because we certainly took notice of the mosquitoes surrounding the homes closer to the beach. The location is ideal because the bike path is right out the back door—we rarely used the car. Also, the neighborhood is extremely quiet and traffic is almost non-existent. If you want a peaceful, relaxing vacation in Hilton Head, stay here!

Lori, This house was wonderful! The very welcoming of goodies when we arrived to the cleaniness of the house was great. The house worked wonderful for my husband and I and our daughter's family with 2 small boys. The walk to the beach was beautiful, the house was stocked well with dishes, pots and pans,etc. We will return to Hilton Head soon and this will be the house of choice. Thanks again for making our stay great.

We've been coming to Hilton Head for years, but this is our new favorite rental home. This house was perfect for two couples with two dogs. The back yard is fenced and the walking trails are all around the house. The humans and dogs all loved the scenic hike to the beach. It was getting hot by late May, but the early morning romps on trails and the huge beach were perfect. We spent most afternoons floating around the beautiful private pool amidst the pines. The kitchen appliances and outdoor gas grill are new, but with more than a hundred restaurants within 10 miles, we didn't cook much. We loved Truffles! We rode bikes every day, to the Salty Dog on some days and the Lighthouse on others.. We used the house bikes and also rented two really nice bikes for about $3 a day. The local manager was able to help us with a few special requests (finding a dogsitting service to stay with our dogs while we spent one day in Savannah) Ha. All in all a PERFECT stress free vacation. Thanks for sharing your home, Lori!

This was the first time we had been to South Carolina and also the first time we had rented a vacation home. When we saw this listing on Homeaway it looked like it would be perfect for our needs. Our concern, of course, was whether the pictures and description would be the same as the actual property. You will not be disappointed from the minute you open the front door! Lori's house was immaculately clean, We were welcomed by a lovely gift basket of goodies, lots of local info and maps and even white folded towels on the beds in the shape of animals and birds. Better than a "5 star" hotel! Appliances/Kitchen were all recently new. Pool is lovely. Fenced yard was perfect for our dog. Layout of the house is wonderful. Location of the home was amazing. Very short walk to the beach and nestled in amongst towering old growth trees. Great bike/walking paths...nicest we've seen. Beach went for miles and was unspoiled and uncrowded. People were walking and biking on the beach. Our family ranged in age from 20 - 89 and this property catered to all needs. Lori was extremely responsive and organized with no detail overlooked. We would highly recommend this property...10/10. Guess where we're going next year?

Very comfortable house and a great location. I spent spring break with three kids and our dog and this house was just what we were looking for. We were close to the beach, Harbor Town and the marina. The owner was great to work with and I recommend this property if you are looking for a place to unwind and enjoy all Hilton Head has to offer.

My husband, 6-month-old and I rented this house last fall for 2 weeks and had the most relaxing vacation! The pool was lovely, and we really appreciated a "pool guy" who came twice weekly to clean it for us! My son loved the waterfall and was entertained for literally hours by the water falling on his feet & hands :) It was great to be so close to the beach, as my husband could bike over, set everything up and we could join him after nap time (which again, I enjoyed in the pool!). The kitchen was well stocked, great appliances, and a wonderful welcome basket! This place will always be special to us - it's where we fell in love with the island, our first "family" vacation, and it's where our son learned to crawl!

We stayed in this home at Deer Run for three weeks in January. When we arrived, we were greeted with wine, flowers and a welcome basket. The owner went far and above what was expected. The home was immaculate which to me is extremely important. It was a great size for my husband and myself and our small dog. The owner has a local manager who greeted us one day to give us his information and let us know that if we needed anything to call him. That was nice. The view from the family room is a waterfall flowing into a beautiful pool. Even though it was too cold to swim, we enjoyed the view! The walk to the beach was very short. We stayed in a home last year and the walk was so far by the time you got to the beach you were exhausted. Not the case in this home. We loved that! The kitchen was well appointed with everything you would need to cook a fancy meal. There were bikes that came with the home which saved a ton of money on rentals. The two things that stand out to me about this home was the location and the cleanliness. What else can you ask for in a beach rental?

What a great property! My wife and I (plus Carson our dog ) stayed here the last two winters ( Jan-Mar). Clean,comfortable and close to the ocean. The fenced backyard is absolutely beautiful with landscaping and a brand new pool. The moment we arrived we knew this was our " home away from home. " We have recommened Deer Run to our friends and now they vacation there also. The owner is wonderful to work with and has a local person to take care of any unexpected details.
