Re-ignite your love or celebrate it anew when staying in this lovely, well-appointed two bedroom home. Situated high on a hill in a gated community in the Pocono Mountains, amenities include indoor and outdoor swimming, indoor and outdoor tennis, a game room for the kids, skiing in season, a restaurant and lounge on the premises and sledding, canoeing, golf, mini-golf, a variety of restaurants, movies, live theater, and more nearby. It's only thirty minutes from the new Mt. Airy Lodge Casino in Mt. Pocono, PA.

The house itself is a charming, two bedroom, non-smoking home. A large, light filled, open floor plan makes up the first level. The gourmet kitchen includes microwave, stove, dishwasher, granite counter tops, a refrigerator with in-door ice and water dispenser, a dinner service for eight. There is a computer nook with high-speed internet and a ceramic gas fireplace. The living room has cathedral ceilings and a large gas fireplace that need only be turned up to fill the room with warmth. There is a ceramic tile half bath tucked around the corner and a washer and dryer discreetly placed in the rear.

The second level boasts two comfy bedrooms and a master bath. There is also a loft space where you can watch DVD's and a couch that can be turned into an extra bed.

Outside, the deer roam. You will most likely see them when you're sitting quietly on the front porch or the back deck. There's a gas grill if you like to cook outdoors. The house is on the side of the hill so the land behind it rises up creating privacy, peace, and quiet.

Why the Owner Chose Bushkill

Whenever I would drive through this area I would think, I wish I could stay. When I began looking for a vacation home, this is where I put my efforts. To find a place like this in a community like Saw Creek was a dream come true. Not only did I find a beautiful home in a serene and private location, I also have year 'round swimming, tennis, and many other indoor and outdoor activities at my fingertips.

    • This is a beautifully decorated home with a great kitchen. It had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay! I would recommend it to either a couple or a family of 4. There were 2 couples in our stay and it was perfect. The location is close to Fernwood and near Shawnee for skiing.

    • This is a lovely, cozy retreat. Beautifully decorated, and very quiet and romantic. I wish that my kitchen at home was so fantastic! Loved the arrangement of the rooms (it has an open floor plan downstairs - - good for chatting while you cook), and a sweet little loft/den upstairs in addition to bedrooms. We went shopping nearby at a huge outdoor market, and I found some delicious local peaches. I highly recommend this lovely home.
