Relax in the comfort of this beautiful, well-appointed town home located next to Burgess Creek. You can see and hear the gurgle of Burgess Creek from the deck. This home is literally a “walk in the woods” and just a short trip up the road to the wonderfully close and always accessible High Speed Quad at Thunderhead lift. Located in the midst of a scenic forested grove, the town home’s tranquility seems miles “away from it all”, but it’s less than 5 minutes from restaurants on the mountain. Explore historic while upbeat downtown Steamboat to find even more excellent dining and shopping. Take a 15 minute drive from our home and soak in the famed Strawberry Hot Springs pools. This spring feeds into a stream, while the natural setting completes the experience…especially relaxing in the evening after a day on the slopes, hiking, or shopping.
This 1600 square foot, privately-owned town home offers vaulted, 18’ high ceilings. The large living room is furnished with two oversized easy chairs, a large sofa, recliner, and a wood-burning stove insert in the moss rock fireplace. Books on the old west, antique skis, and pictures of turn-of-the-century Steamboat skiers adorn the walls, welcoming you to this comfortable, relaxing setting. A 27” TV with a DVD player ensures that you can curl up in front of the fire to enjoy a movie, read a book, or even build a jig saw puzzle. There is a large, private alcove in the master suite for those seeking a private nook. WIFI is available from the unit as well as in the many coffee shops in town.
A fully-equipped kitchen adjoins the dining room with seating for ten people. Both kitchen and dining room have Italian porcelain tile floors. In addition, the kitchen is equipped so you can cook a gourmet meal on site, grill outside on the deck, or enjoy your favorite comfort food after a day on the slopes or hiking trails. The kitchen comes fully stocked with cooking staples. For an added treat, enjoy the espresso maker to start your day or to cap off a wonderful evening meal. If you’re a sports fan or movie lover, please enjoy the corn popper and complementary Orville Redenbacher popping corn.
This spacious town home has three large bedrooms and three full baths:
-The master suite has a king size bed, walk-in closet, and private bath/shower area and a separate vanity. LCD TV w/DVD. There is direct access to the Loft.
-The “Cowboy” bedroom has a queen bed with views to the forest about 25 meters from the town home.
-Third bedroom, has two twin beds and access to a carpeted sleeping loft.
-Loft: Queen size air mattress perfect for extra guests or older children.
Two parking areas: a heated, one-car garage that allows safe storage for your skis, and a covered parking area is available for a second vehicle.

We stayed at this beautiful town home for five weekends during the 2008-09 ski season! As a single parent with 5 kids it was the perfect place for our family. The furnishings are warm, inviting, comfortable all with a "Colorado elegance" that made for perfect skiing weekends! The location is so close to the mountain and all the amenities in Steamboat! The setting is beautiful tucked back in to the quiet hillside, so you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful mountains. We will definately be returning next year!!

Love this place! My family has been coming to this home for the past three years. We love it here....it has that comfortable Colorado feel that makes for a perfect ski vacation. We were so delighted that first night as we sat out on the deck looking out at the stars and listening to the sounds of the creek below, and from such a great place! The furnishings, the artwork and the pottery, all gave it a warm and cozy feeling. We could tell as soon as we walked in that this was not just a vacation rental but a great vacation home. It has a great location for skiing; it's scenic and close to everything.

My family stayed here at the end of August for a long weekend. My parents said it was wonderful to listen to the creek as it "sang" them to sleep every night. It is a cozy place that was the perfect size for our group and it's in a great location for both summer and winter activities. The condo is pet friendly which was great for us because we were able to bring our dogs up with us and they enjoyed thier vacation as well. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

The townhome is very nice and is in a good location winter or summer. Listening to Burgess Creek is one of the best attributes this place offers. The kitchen and dining room are also very good. Keep in mind that there is really only parking for one vehicle though and the overflow parking could be an issue so if you are going to have more than one car you may want to talk about that with the owner beforehand. The loft is also in the same room as the two twin beds. Steamboat is a great place so make sure in take in the sights; biking next to the Yampa River; hiking some of the many trails; Fish Creek Falls; both of the hot springs and especially Strawberry Park day or night it is just a one of a kind place. The ladies were friendly too!!

We stayed here over spring break. Had a wonderful time and the townhouse worked great for us. It was an easy trip to the ski resort, or anywhere else. We picked this townhouse because it was pet friendly. We enjoyed being off the ski resort area and taking walks up the mountain with our dog. We were all pleased and comfortable here. The kids were elated to have their own bathrooms. We felt very much at home and the owners were great to work with.

Wonderful place to stay! So close to everything, and perfectly snuggled out of the way. It was perfect for accommodating lots of people, yet cozy enough to curl up in front of the fire place and read alone. ABSOLUTELY CHARMING!
