Something very special happened for me while I was at the Last Loft in Seattle. A deep connection. How that will play out in terms of my next steps I'm don't yet know. But I feel alive and engaged in ways that are making me feel better in both of my homes. Thanks so much for making me feel so welcome.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The Last Loft was a haven for me. Its simple, clean lines were both bracing and comforting. I loved the books, especially "The Architecture of Happiness". I look forward to my return in January.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend here in Seattle and the Last Loft. It was great being able to live like "locals" and visit the bakery, have dinner at the local carribbean restaurant, and go for a nice run around Seward Park. The loft was more than we could have asked for - from the beautiful, well-thoughtout design to the lovely rooftop deck.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We've stayed at the Last Loft since it opened and have returned many times. It is clean, fresh and comfortable. Looks the same as it did the first week, plus more. Each visit there are a few more conveniences. It's a great location, especially with our 2-year-old grandson just a few blocks away. Good restaurants, bakery, gallery, movie theater, and most important... friendly people. We keep returning.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

What a wonderful flat! We were comfortable, slept well, and enjoyed ourselves. We likes the ease of walking to my sister's, the convenience of the light rail, and the variety of cafes. The coffee shop across the courtyard makes the best waffles on the weekend!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

About the owner: I developed this property as part of a decade-long love affair with the Columbia City neighborhood. After a career in civil engineering and consulting, I've put all my energies into community development and historic preservation. My wife, Shelley, and I have lived in Southeast Seattle for over 20 years, and we get great enjoyment sharing our love of the area.
Why the Owner Chose Columbia City:
There are very few lodging options for people looking to stay in Southeast Seattle. The Last Loft lends itself perfectly to the visiting relatives and friends of our Columbia City neighbors, as well as to Seattle visitors wanting a "neighborhood" experience.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
Our guests, even those returning multiple times, always seem very excited by all the choices within a short stroll... the many restaurants, coffee shops, gallery, bookstore, cinema, farmers market, library.
