A great location in a quiet village center just outside Hershey/Hummelstown proper. Sophisticated urban refinements meet 18th century charm. Hershey and the surrounding area offers a vast variety of activities for both families and adults. The amusement park is a major attraction, now with its new water rides. The Gem is only three miles from Hershey Park and Zoo America, Hershey Spa and Gardens. The Hershey Theater, Lodge, AACA Antique Auto Museum and Medical Center are all just as close by to The Gem. The home is central for antique and outlet shoppers alike with great opportunities in Hershey, Adamstown, Reading as well as New Oxford, Pennsylvania (Hershey outlet malls five miles, Lancaster and Reading have outstanding outlet malls as well; huge antique malls and weekly flea markets are located in Adamstown and New Oxford, both just less than one hour away). Use the house as a base camp for days of activities then come back and relax with all its great features of home.
