Escape from your daily home and business routines and imagine yourself in this comfortable and modernly decorated and condominium - offering easy access to golfing and swimming, shopping, sunning and boating. Or enjoy secluded relaxation on the private Lanai.
We decorated this condo in a tasteful and modern style with upgraded furnishings and artwork instead of the "standard" Florida Rental Home furnishings and wall art. As soon as you arrive you will feel at home and find yourself in a comfortable and tasteful environment that offers relaxing views of Wildlife preserve from the Lanai and views of the lake from the cul-de-sac. The lake offers wonderful enjoyment of the local bird population (especially in the evenings) and is perfect for birdwatching.
Riverwood Golf & Country Club strives to be unique among Southwest Florida communities and it succeeds on several counts. First, the Gene Bates-designed golf course is rated by Golf Digest with an impressive four-and-1/2 stars, and second, its Golf Learning Center provides ample opportunity and resources to learn while you play. The huge practice range is supported by superb PGA Professional staff members.
Riverwood also offers a member Beach Club. Private parking for 28 vehicles and 5,500-sq.-ft., cabana-style, wooden structure housing showers, restrooms, commercial ice machine, chilled drinking water fountain, baby-changing facility, office area and storage.
The huge covered deck, complete with towering palm tree feature, has built-in seating, ceiling fans and plenty of space for dancing and entertaining. Charcoal grills are also provided, along with picnic tables.
An elevated wooden walkway leads directly to the beach, with sand chairs and loungers being provided by the attendant. Access is controlled through membership card operated gates, with coded entry systems protecting the internal facilities. Our tenants will have access to the Riverwood Beach Club with key card access.

We selected Riverwood because we fell in love with Port Charlotte and nearby Punta Gorda... during our first visit. We wanted to surround ourselves with relaxing views of Wildlife preserve and views of the lake. As a result, our condo sits in a quiet cul-de-sac by a lovely lake and is surrounded by wildlife preserve. The lake offers wonderful views of the local bird population (especially in the evenings). Riverwood is the perfect community for just about everything from golfing to biking to walking and just plain enjoyment every minute of your stay.

A+ all the way. Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, in where the evening view over a pound is absolutely magnificent. The condo is tastefully decorated; spotlessly clean with all the convenience of your own home. At there local pool or just going for a causal walk or bike ride, you will always meet the nicest people,(Owners or Renters ), in the Grant Vista area of Riverwood. If you enjoy the beach, this is the place to be. The access there private beach club , with all it’s connivance, make a day by the water , hassle free. Will rent there again
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+.

This property is located in an excellent well rounded and well maintained and safe community. We found all the facilities to be clean and well maintained. The owner did an excellent job of answering our questions even before we signed a contract. In her absence from the area at the time of our arrival, an agent did professional job of making us feel welcame. We would recommend this home to anyone we thought responsible enough to take care of the property. There is alot of things in and around Port Charlotte to keep you busy and entertained. If you are a golfer, bike rider exercise enthusiest or just want to rest and relax, the community is very quiet and orderly. We are both happy and lucky to have found this property to spend a months time in.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+.
