This is a rustic, 3500 Sq.Ft. Five year old log home in a beautiful remote area, yet easily accessible as it is right on Hwy 1.
The downstairs bedroom and bath have both been remodeled, however the upstairs bath and bedrooms have not (the bedrooms are fine, but the bath is not finished out but functional).
The kitchen/dining area is quite large, but has only minimum counter space and only a small refridg and oven. It does, however, have a large commercial sink, and a large Amish woodburning cookstove and oven (this is the only heating source for the house - firewood provided). This is a good room to accommodate large groups, but the kitchen would not lend itself to any sort of gourmet cooking because of the aforementioned.
The livingroom on the 2nd floor has large 2 story picture windows looking out over farmland and mountains. The view is really gorgeous!!
There's no place we'd rather be this side of Heaven!! ...We are there as much as possible, and also use it for family gatherings, Christian retreats, and for personal getaways.
We have property managers who live close by, who will check you in and out, and be available should you need anything during your stay. |
