This is a rustic, 3500 Sq.Ft. ten year old log home in a beautiful remote area, yet easily accessible as it is right on Hwy 1.
The downstairs bedroom and bath have both been remodeled. The upstairs bedrooms are all very nice, the upstairs bath is rustic but very functional.
The kitchen/dining area is quite large, and is good for large groups, but has minimal counter space. There is, however, a large two-sided commercial sink that's very useful, and also an awesome commercial Wolf range/oven! There are two medium-size refridgerators, and a large Amish woodburning cookstove and oven (this is the only heating source for the house - firewood provided).
The livingroom on the 2nd floor has large 2 story picture windows looking out over farmland and mountains. Elk and white tail deer are a common sight. The view is really gorgeous!!
There's no place we'd rather be this side of Heaven!! ...We are there as much as possible for our own personal getaways, and also use it for family gatherings and Christian retreats.
We have property managers who live close by, who will check you in and out, and be available should you need anything during your stay.
