In the Summer and Fall; Hike the mountain from your door-step and enjoy the phenomenal views; pick blueberries on the mountain; Golf at Bridgton Highlands, Point Sebago or even at the prestigious Mt. Washington Hotel only about 45 min away; Canoe down the Saco River; Swim, fish or launch your boat in Moose Pond, or one of the many other lakes that are close by; Shop the outlets at North Conway ONLY 20 minutes away; take a ride on the Songo River Queen in Naples; See a movie at the Bridgton Twin Drive-In movie theater; Go to the Fryeburg Fair in October only 10 minutes away; Storyland, Heritage Museum, Conway Scenic Railroad, Wildcat Mountain are about ½ hour away. Six Gun City, Santa's Village, Mount Washington, Attitash, & Bear Peak are all approximately 1 hour away. In the summer months, the Seacoast Amusement Park, in Windham offers a driving range, mini-golf, bumper boats, Gran-prix Go Karts, sling-shot trampoline.
In the winter, you can ski day or night right from your door step to the adjacent ski-trail that abuts our ‘Ski-in/Ski-out’ home on one of New England's finest family ski resorts, Shawnee Peak. Even on the busiest weekends, the lift lines are short. There are endless trails for cross-country skiing and there are snowmobile rentals not far in Freyburg. Should you wish to ski another mountain, Mount Cranmore is approx ½ hour away, while Attitash, Bear Peak, Wild Cat, Bretton Woods & Mt. Washington are all approx. 1 hour away.
Need a break from skiing? During the winter months, you can enjoy the Musher’s Bowl Winter Carnival which provides a week’s long worth of entertainment. If you like art, The 302 Art Gallery in downtown Bridgton offers a monthly wine & cheese; forgot movies for the kids or just want to cuddle up to a movie, pick from a video library of over 100 movies for free, rent a movie from Viewers Choice (across from Food City) or see a movie in the newly renovated ‘Magic Lantern’ movie theater both in downtown Bridgton. The Seacoast Amusement Park, approx ½ hour away in Windham offers snowtubing in the winter months.
This is condo great for families with kids, couples who wish to have a relaxing get-a-way, girls weekend (don't forget the shopping is not far away), or anyone who wants to have a relaxing vacation ANY TIME OF THE YEAR!!! Don’t want to cook, want a little more atmosphere, in the winter, you can not only enjoy a great meal or a cocktail at the base lodge which is only steps away, but you can also enjoy all the free entertainment that Shawnee Peak provides.
Bridgton House of Pizza (207-647-3266) delivers, or if you are heading up and haven’t had dinner, call ahead and pick it up on your way through Bridgton; Dunkin Donuts on 302 right as you enter the downtown area of Bridgton; a new Hannafords food shopping center and a brand new Renny’s department in downtown Bridgton offers convenient shopping.
The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, built-in gas fireplace, a deck overlooking the mountain & TV w/VCR/DVD, Bedroom #2 has twin beds, and the finished lower level has a queen-size sleep sofa and 2 roll-a-way twin cots and TV w/VCR/DVD; sleeps up to 8 comfortably.
