August 2011 - Beautiful unit, you can walk right out to the pool or relax on the patio. Can't see the beach from the unit but the convenience of walking right into your "home away from home" directly from the pool compensates for that. Beds were very comfortable. The property is convenient to so many things, (good restaurants, bike rental,new Grocery store (on HWY 98), new Walmart, etc) yet remains secluded. We're going back next summer and would love to visit during the winter months too.
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway.
Third time at this property, first time in this unit... it's the best one in the building!

I am absolutely shocked that I am the first to write a review on this condo! I wish I could post my pictures, this was our best year. Each year we come to this building & beach for a family reunion. Important for you to know is this requires renting 2 condos, so we have seen several condos at this point. One group always stays on an upstairs, side condo & while it still has great views, the first floor condos (there are 4) literally walk right out to the pool. Just past the pool are the steps to the beach! I have 4 small children so easy accessibility is IMPORTANT, & never, at ANY BEACH we have gone too, has it been so easy. Here is a description of the complex. When you drive in, there is a parking lot in the basement with a security guard. Only one car per unit is allowed in the basement parking lot, so be sure to inquire on additional spaces if you need it. There is an elevator up to the floors, & getting to your condo is the same amount of effort whether you are on floor 1 or 4. If you have an ocean front condo you only have one room that faces the beach; all of the other bedrooms have windows facing the lobby. What sets this unit apart, other then the fabulous furnishings, is the proximity to the pool and beach. If you have afternoon nappers, THIS CONDO IS FOR YOU. You can move a lounge chair next to the patio, and sunbathe while they nap. I counted the steps: from the living room it is 15 steps (3 of these being stairs) to the edge of the pool. There is a large patio with a locking gate so the kids can’t get out, and plenty of space for beach gear, pool stuff, coolers, etc. (The cooler was hardly needed though, if you were at the pool you walked right in your back door and got another beverage/snack/etc! WONDERFUL!) The only thing I would add to the condo is more forks and small spoons, and a 'hotel lock' at the top of the exterior door. My kids kept opening the door & looking out into the lobby, & there isn’t a chain or latch. It has a very small washer & dryer which would be a drag for month long stays, but other than that, it was perfect. We will go back to this beach again next year for our annual Pirate Reunion, & we will definitely rent this condo. It is gorgeous inside. I don’t know why the owners didn’t post better pictures. Maybe that’s the one other thing you could change. :) Five stars!!
