Our condo is a favorite of budget travelers who love to ski and snowboard. With one bedroom plus a loft, this condo is perfect for a family of 4 or several adults who prefer separate beds. There is one queen bed in the bedroom and two twins in the loft. There is one full bath with bathtub on the main level plus an additional shower/sink attached to the master bedroom.
Our condo is on 2 levels with windows facing Vail Mountain. The main floor features a full kitchen, dining table for 4, open living room with TV/DVD/stereo, woodburning fireplace, patio and full bath. The upstairs features one fully enclosed bedroom with a queen bed and a separate sleeping loft overlooking the living room and fireplace with 2 twin beds. The master bedroom has a separate marble shower and pedestal sink. This year we added all new hotel quality bedding with down comforters and new duvet covers. The kitchen is fully equipped with a new stainless steel dishwasher, full size appliances and cookware, dishes, glassware, coffee maker, and many kitchen items. We have a new flat screen TV with DVD player and CD player. Washer/dryer inside the unit.

Our condo is located on the free Town of Vail shuttle in the Sandstone area of Central Vail. An 8-10 minute shuttle ride to Vail Village, this property is located directly across from the Lionshead base area with views of Vail Mountain. The Sandstone shuttle runs every 20-30 minutes until 2 am for most of the winter season. Without ski gear, Lionshead Village is a pleasant 10-15 minute walk along the bike path and over the pedestrian bridge. The North Trail at Red Sandstone Rd is about 300 yards away and offers a great hike or snowshoe with spectacular ski slope views. Grocery stores are located about 1 mile away in West Vail. Parking is available on site for one vehicle with pass.

This is a great budget option in Vail which is a very expensive destination. The condo is small, but the owner has done everything possible to make it very comfortable. The bedding is very good quality and sheets/down comforters look brand new. Bedding was perfect for my family of four (kids 10 and 13). Kitchen is small, but we don't spend a lot of time cooking on vacation. Very nice to have wifi and a washer/dryer in the unit. Location is excellent and easy to get to the bus even with skis and snowboards. Nice to have a dvd player and a collection of dvd's for a night relaxing on the couch.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.
