Very large flagstone patio with dining for 12, hot tub, and gazebo which provides a beautiful garden setting for entertaining and relaxation. Property fully repainted and updated inside and out in 2012.
This house is conveniently located near downtown Napa (including Oxbow Market and numerous restaurants and winery tasting rooms) in the exclusive Montecito Heights neighborhood. Although close to downtown you will be just minutes to vineyards and wineries.
This vacation rental is one of a limited number of legal short-term vacation rental properties in Napa County. In the City of Napa a vacation rental must have both vacation rental and business licenses from the City and pay transit occupancy taxes. The City Council wants to stop illegal rentals so please be sure to rent a property that is properly licensed.

We had a great time at your house. We wish we could have enjoyed the hot tub, bbq, and backyard but the rain got in the way. We had a good time playing cards on the nice big wooden table. Our group spent a wonderful week here. It was perfect for a group aged 18 months to 54 years, including 2 teens. Your home is beautiful and the Napa area is spectacular. Ten friends, four great nights in Napa and three amazing days of winieries- all in celebration of 5 girls turning 30 and their 5 husbands/fiances/boyfriends, celebrating "November." The house was the perfect location and served as a wonderful place to play games, have fires in the fireplace, enjoy coffee in the window seat, eat a lovely catered dinner and just relax and unwind after a day of tastings. I can't say enough about this beautiful home! We were there to celebrate my parents' 40th wedding anniversary with all their children and grandchildren. It was a perfect base for travels around the area, including the wineries of Napa Valley, Muir Woods, and San Fransisco. The house and yard are amazingly well-maintained and lack for nothing. The quiet neighborhood was lovely. The owner was very professional but personable, thorough, and well-prepared in all aspects of the rental process as well as the home. Without hesitation I would return here; in addition, I would gladly recommend this home to anyone interested in the Napa area!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

This rental home was very comfortable for our family of eight. The bright open floor plan and pleasant outdoor patio made it very nice for us all to congregate. The kitchen allowed us to prepare foods purchased at the OxBow Market and there were plenty of wine glasses! It's close to the Silvarado Trail allowing access to the wineries and just minutes from downtown Napa. It's a great home - beds comfy, bathrooms clean and plenty of parking as described in listing. Owner and staff extremely helpful. Would recommend.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, age 55+.

This house is located close to Napa's vibrant downtown district. We especially loved that we were so close to the Oxbow Market. It is also very close to many wineries. You can access the Silverado Trail very easily from this house. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood. It offers many nice amenities though it could use a little updating. The back yard patio and hot tub are very nice.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Erwin's review was very accurate. In response I closed the house for a month and fully repainted it, inside and out; converted the den to a 5th full-time bedroom, and made other upgrades. The house is now improved in every way -- with a rich, warm palatte and upgraded landscaping.

About the owner: I originally redesigned this home for raising my children and relaxing with friends. I've since remarried and moved elsewhere in the Napa Valley, but I'm pleased to offer this as a great vacation rental for families, or other groups looking for a modestly priced, high quality home.
