This condo community is located on a strip of land between the world renowned Sunset Beach and Huntington Harbor. The Huntington Harbor area boasts of over 9 miles of waterways where you can rent kayaks, boats, etc.
It’s a very quite condo complex with well kept, manicured grounds and has a Jacuzzi, volley ball court, outdoor showers (for cleaning up after the beach) and laundry facilities. It is an easy walk to Sunset Beach. The surrounding area offers a variety of restaurants such as the well known Captain Jacks Seafood and Prime Rib Restaurant (best crab and lobster around), all ethnic food choices including Italian, Mexican, Japanese as well as coffee shop style restaurants and, of course, fast food restaurants. There are also several supermarkets for at home cooking.
If you head south on PCH, it’s about 3 miles to Huntington Pier – Surf City USA with a very popular main street offering a variety of restaurants and shops. Farther south is Newport Beach with Fashion Island (shopping paradise), and Balboa Island. For a short excursion you can pass your time most pleasantly in Newport Beach or the very popular tourist attraction, Balboa Island.
A short drive north on PCH will take you to the Long Beach Harbor with a wide selection of on-the-water dining. Just past Long Beach Harbor, you can see the Queen Mary and The Aquarium of the Pacific. Being in the heart of Orange County you are not too far from the Disneyland attractions and Knott’s Berry Farm. In the evenings Newport Beach, Balboa Island and Long Beach have many options for music, clubbing and romantic evening entertainment.
For a more adventurous day trip, you can catch the ferry from Newport Beach or Long Beach Harbor and visit the enchanting Catalina Island where you can dine, shop, scuba, snorkel, hike, rent a scooter, or just relax. |
