We spent Christmas week with our daughter and son-in-law at "too much nice" on the beautiful island of Nevis. The home was every bit as beautiful as presented in the photos. The pool and covered veranda were our favorite spaces in the house. The house itself was well equipped and comfortable and the pool was sparkling and inviting. We watched gorgeous sunsets from the veranda and sat there happily and dry when a sudden little rain would appear. It was truly the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. We have stayed at the Four Seasons in the past but found that this house was much more practical when traveling with adult children - we both had the privacy of our bedrooms but were able to spend so much more time together than we could have at a hotel. The beach was a short drive away as were a number of good restaurants (Coconut Grove was our favorite). This property was very clean and well maintained and Julie was so prompt in response to my questions - could not have asked for more in that regard. Ian Hart was very helpful in getting us to the house and making arrangements for our departure. We would definitely recommend this house to friends and would very much like to return again.Owner response: Thankyou for your kind feedback. Delighted that TooMuchNice provided you with the location, space and privacy to celebrate the festive season in style! Look forward to welcoming you back sometime in the future.

TooMuchNice combines high end comfort and amenities with the feel of authentic island living. Its unique decor and open living areas make you feel like a Nevisian resident while still enjoying all of the comforts of home. The villa has a great deal of privacy without being as remote as other locations on the island and we enjoyed waking to the sound of birds, cows and an occasional donkey on each beautiful morning. The location is very convenient for quick trips to restaurants, shopping and beaches. We already miss sitting by the pool each night before bed gazing at the stars. The owners and their staff at the house were great and very helpful, and we look forward to our next visit to TooMuchNice!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Glad you appreciated the idyllic yet convenient location of our island home. It would be great to welcome you back some time in the future.

We absolutely loved the house, very clean & organized, well equipped and spacious, with one of the best views in Nevis. We stayed for a week and found that the owner (Julie) house Manager (Ian) and housekeeper Rihanna were all extremely helpful in organizing every step of our trip including arranging for pick-up at St. Kitts airport, water taxi to Nevis, car rental waiting at the house upon our arrival, and information on where to shop and visit during our stay. This made our travel from Atlanta so much less stressful than in the past and we have rented homes several times on other islands in the Caribbean. Definitely would recommend and return for another stay if we find ourselves back in Nevis!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Delighted that your enjoyed your stay at TooMuchNice. Our aim is to provide high rental standards and to ensure guests feel like their vacation has started the moment their flight lands. It would be great to welcome you back sometime in the near future.

Too Much Nice is the perfect house for a couple or for a family holiday on Nevis. Luxurious in every way, it is situated close to some lovely beaches as well as close to a number of great restaurants. Good hobie sailing close by as well as bike hire for some energetic cycles around the island. or for mountain biking The house cannot be faulted, works really well, and the amazing sunsets from the poolside balcony were a bonus!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you for your fantastic review - delighted you enjoyed our island home and its special location

My husband and I spent a week at this beautiful home in Jan/Feb 2012. The description of the home is very accurate. It is spacious and located in a very quiet area of the island. The views are incredible! The property was well maintained by delightful staff--- Reanna and Balwin. The best beaches are very nearby and especially liked Chrisi's and Paradise. Don't miss the Botanical Gardens! We would recommend that you ask the care-taker for specific directions to some of the sites as the signage on the island is not great. Roads are also a bit if a challenge. That being said, this was a wonderful location and a very relaxing, enjoyable stay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Nevis is a gem of an island and Toomuchnice just makes the whole experience even better! It is a well thought out, very comfortable villa with great views of the shimmering caribbean sea and it is quite tempting not to move from the shaded verandah however if you do manage to tear yourself away then you are close to the best beaches and restaurants. Take binoculars as there is always a boat of some sort moving around and the ex WWII landing craft doubling as the island's car ferry link to St Kitts provides plenty of entertainment!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: We are delighted you enjoyed the villa's homely touches. We also just love to relax around the pool and take in the wonderful views.

I am lucky enough to say that I have been visiting Nevis for over 16 years. I have rented a few homes and TooMuchNice is the best one thus far. The location was great; it is quiet and private without being too removed from the main road. Although a car rental is needed for shopping etc, I found that even my lazy self could walk to nearby beaches and a few restaurants. The houses elevation allows for a beautifully verdant panoramic view that cascades down to the ocean. I spent hours just staring out at the view from the comfortable veranda furniture. Then I realized I could open the wall of shutters that adjoin the master bedroom and living room which not only enlarged the living space but also invited the view inside, truly breathtaking. Living in the city I had forgotten how energizing and vital nature can be- and here at TooMuchNice the beautiful colors and energy of the nature is everywhere. The appliances, kitchen and baths are modern and very user friendly. The Indonesian design accents gave the house a warm exotic feel. There was a generous supply of clean linens and towels and a washer and dryer for mid-vacation washing. Rhianna and her husband were both lovely and very competent. The owner was a dream to work with, laid back and very responsive. Ian the house manager was also lovely. I found him to be very accessible and as a long time resident of the island very knowledgeable about the house and the island. I consider myself not easy to please but after just a weeks stay I am already checking the houses availability for my next visit. Thanks so much!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: wow, thats a great review from somebody who has been going to nevis for such a long time, thank you and please come back.

Too Much Nice is a wonderful house. It is very well taken care of by Rhianna , who also had very helpful hints about the island. We loved the proximity of the house to the beaches and other island activities. Henning was very easy to deal with, as was Ian and Mervin who rented us a car. Henning also has a notebook at the house with restaurants and "things to do" available as a reference. It was very helpful. We loved Chrishies Beach Bar at Cades Bay, Galipot, and Coconut Grove which was good but pricey. The sail/snorkel trip on "Star" with Irene and Steve was fabulous. Thank you all for a wonderful vacation. We would love to go back tomorrow. Great Place!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: thanks for the nice review, diana. good tip about snokeling with the "star" , i will try it next time. you are welcome back any time.

My husband and I stayed in Toomuchnice for 2 weeks over New Year. After travelling around the caribbean the weeks before we can say that Nevis and the wonderful house of Julie & Roger were the best place we stayed at all. We loved the space and generosity of the house. Everything is at a very high and modern standard - very good taste and very well maintainend. And the view - what can I say - you can see the sea from everywhere. We liked it so much, that we are coming back for sure. Also Julie & Roger are very nice and easy with the handling. We only can recommend Toomuchnice - we think it´s the best place you can stay in Nevis.Recommended for: Romantic getaway

Wow! This is the second time we have rented a property with Henning and this one was even more amazing than the first. While there, we actually looked at other villas as we are considering buying one. We went all over the island, peaked inside many of them - using TooMuchNice as as standard - and found that others paled in comparison. This villa was spacious enough for seven of us (myself, husband and five young men 16-22 years old). It was impeccably clean - and kept that way with Rhianna and her husband's biweekly attention. The pool was large enough to swim in so we swam everyday. The kitchen was spacious enough to prepare food for our family and all the appliances are state-of-the-art German high quality. The beds were huge, the rooms very spacious. We loved the veranda - played chess, read, talked and even watched the lunar eclipse on the solstice! As an early riser, one can watch the sun rise from the veranda just left of Mt. Nevis, then watch spectacular sunsets from the veranda looking over the ocean. We walked to nearby Cades Bay beach and ate several dinners at Chrishi's Beach Bar, affordable and tasty. We ate at nearby Galipots twice - their steak and smoked sailfish were great! The five course meal for my godson's birthday on Christmas Eve at Mt. Nevis Hotel nearby was tremendous. Hospitality on the island is amazing, especially the people at St. Theresa's in Charlestown. One not to be overlooked feature of this villa is its close proximity to so many activities. We were five minutes from Scuba Safari's Dive Shop for our dives - do go see Ellis and ask for Elvin to take you diving. Tell him Roseann sent you! We also returned to the same location at Oulie Beach for windsurfing. Nisbet Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches is perhaps 15 minutes away. We were in and out of Charlestown for shopping, church, sightseeing and sailing (go with the 55-ft schooner The Star; we chartered them for a glorious afternoon to St. Kitts and snorkeling). To summit the mountain, contact Linnell at Sun Rise Tours. Henning keeps a book there for all nearby activities complete with locations and phone numbers. So, there you have it. A great big, clean, spacious villa with awesome views, great design and furnishings. Look no further for truly a wonderful place for privacy, yet near everywhere you want to go on Nevis. Oh, and that bathroom? Everyone wanted to use our shower!! Book your trip here, we certainly plan to return!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: dear roseanne and pete, your review is so nice even i want to go now and leave our dreadful weather behind, you are always welcome, thanks.

"We have stayed on many Caribbean islands for the past 15 years and have always rented a house. This villa is one of the nicest homes we have rented. The house is furnished really well and contains everything you need. It has a nice open and contemporary floor plan. The covered terraces with the large pool invite you to just lounge and enjoy the day. There is a motorized awning for additional shade. The views are truly amazing. Take your pick -- stunning sea views or majestic Mount Nevis -- it is all there. You may even see a family of monkeys nearby. We did not experience any problems in the house during our 11 night stay. The location of the house is very convenient and close to beaches, Charlestown, and some really good restaurants. The owner is extremely helpful in making all the arrangements for pick-up and house check-in. Even though we arrived quite late due to a flight delay, we were picked up at the airport, the ferry, and Rhianna was at the house waiting for us. The caretakers, Rhianna and Balwan, are a really sweet couple who will take good care of you. Nevis is a beautiful island -- green and lush -- just waiting to be explored. We could not have had a better time and will return!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: glad you had a good time on nevis and at our house, please come back anytime.

Have just returned from a two week stay at "Too Much Nice" and can honestly say that the name says it all, This was our fourth stay on Nevis but the first in this house, it simply is in a different league to the majority of the other houses upon the island, the other houses we have stayed in where inferior to this and nearly twice the price, the owner has really given a lot of thought to its layout ie the master bedroom ,master ensuite, lounge ,kitchen, dining, veranda and pool are all on one level, (it actually has a mediterranean feel about it) the house has every amenity required and both the housekeeper & her husband (who does the gardens and pool ) are a delight to deal with very cheery in there nature. The house was spotlessly clean and well kept and the views from the poolside terrace are simply stunning especially the sunsets. Its well situated with all the local bars etc close at hand. In conclusion "Too Much Nice" its called and Too Much Nice it is!! We did not want to leave!! The villa is fantastic - very spacious and well equipped - plenty of room for all (stayed with our 2 teenage daughters). Thoughtfully designed(especially the ensuite with walkin shower) and in a fabulous location. Very quiet with no through traffic and ideally positioned to take advantage of the wonderful Caribbean sunsets and views towards St Kitts. The property is very well maintained - cleaning done to a high standard by Rhianna and the pool by her husband. Car hire was arranged in advance and there when we arrived.. Transfers to the villa were well organised by Ian Hart -who also provided us with some shopping we requested on arrival. Some fantastic beaches within 5-10mins drive of the property (Pinneys, Lovers Oualie) as well as excellent restaurants (our favourite Gallipot just down the road, Double Deuce towards Charlestown or Golden Rock on the Windward side). Shopping for provisions is no problem - 3 supermarkets on the island and you shouldn't miss the market in Charlestown. We would highly recommend this villa and can't wait to return sometime soon.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
