This beautifully furnished GROUND FLOOR condo is only steps from the shoreline. It has a direct view of the large, newly refinished POOL and the tropical garden grounds.
The partial VIEW OF THE OCEAN is visible from both the large covered private LANAI and the unit interior. There are lots of beautiful coconut palm trees throughout the complex. Enjoy the same gorgeous SUNSET VIEWS of the islands of Moloka'i and Lana'i that you'd pay 2 or 3 times as much for at the big resorts, but without the crowds or noise. During the winter season, WHALES are highly visible and routinely seen from the many vantage points on the property. Hawaiian turtles (Honu) frequent these waters as well. This area is especially blessed with consistent COOLING TRADEWINDS.
The large BEDROOM has a queen-size bed, two nightstands with drawer space, lamps and dresser, sliding louvered doors for privacy, full-length mirrored closet doors, ceiling fan and desktop fan, and louvered high windows for cross-ventilation.
The LIVING ROOM has a queen-size sofa-bed, a ceiling fan and desktop fan, and huge sliding glass doors/screens leading to the large lanai. One entire wall is mirrored floor-to-ceiling, creating a feeling of spaciousness and reflecting both the garden grounds/pool and the ocean.
The BATHROOM (first room) has a basin, hair dryer, and matching towels. The second room has a toilet, tub, shower, and matching towels. Both rooms private.
DINING TABLES are placed both inside the unit and also on the large covered lanai for alfresco dining. There is also a padded chaise lounge on the lanai.
The BEACH, directly fronting and accessible from the property is good for swimming and very good for snorkeling. Tropical fish abound in these clear waters. Excellent sandy beaches with all the amenities and world class snorkeling and scuba diving are easily accessed within ten minutes drive in either direction. We provide a limited selection of snorkeling and beach gear.

World class GOLF courses at Ka'anapali and Kapalua are located within 10 minutes drive of the complex. Several other outstanding courses are available throughout the island, and most are within 30 minutes drive.

We can BBQ our fresh catch right in the pool area adjacent to our ground floor unit. Excellent laundry facilities are available in two locations on property and there is lots of free parking. There is an exceptional sun deck in addition to the delightfully refreshing pool area. It's perfect for sunsets and pupus

Ed & Kathy both hail from Hawaii originally and have relocated to Seattle. We are thrilled to be part of the Maui community and are happy to share our little slice of heaven with visitors from around the world. Bruce, we had the best vacation! Your place is a little slice of paradise. The location is primo. Your neighbors (Mark, Bob, and Jeff) were friendly and very informative. Once, at a sunset gathering with the regulars, Jeff showed us some underwater video he took while diving at 50' of a sea turtle and a large grouper. Bob is a walking Hawaiian encyclopedia and funny. Mark had lots of good info and good stories like the time a veteran surfer got killed by a 14' shark about a mile away. After that I always checked behind me when snorkeling. By the way, the snorkeling was pretty good right out front of your condo. We did the tourist thing during the first week (I'll spare you the details) and took your advise and relaxed the second week. The most impressive thing about Maui is the weather and the view of both mountains and sea at the same time. Also, we couldn't get over how blue the water is. Whale watching is great fun, both from a boat and from the shore. Saw a mother and calf breech together, first mom then the baby - spectacular. By the way, the zip-line attraction is booked 3-4 weeks in advance. So, I guess you have to book before you leave. We have good pictures, video, and memories of Maui. Thanks a million for sharing your home on Maui with us. After telling all of our friends and relatives about your place, I may be sending you some business. Take care and stay out of trouble. Bruce, Been very busy since coming back from our vacation in Maui. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you again. As you may have heard from Bob, we kept so busy on our trip that we only slept in the room. We really enjoyed our stay. The book you sent was great. We used it every day. We went to the blowhole, went to the Iao Needle, stopped by the Plantation, went through the Botanical Garden, drove the road to Hana and saw many waterfalls, and the caves at black sand beach. We drove all the way around instead of driving back the way we came and the drive was a great adventure that we enjoyed in spite of the road conditions. We snorkeled Molokini and Black Rock. Shopped Whaler's Village, Lahaina and the market. I was fortunate to hear someone on our plane mention that the cheapest places to get gifts would be the market on Mon, Wed & Fri. We did just that and brought something back for everyone. We did a cocktail cruise and whalewatching. We also did see whales from the patio at Hale Ono Loa with our binoculars. The place was exactly what we expected which was nice. I think your place had the best view and I am glad we were able to stay there. We will be referring other people. Thanks again, Nina and Ron
