This home can be separated into two private living quarters, great place for 2 couples to get away for some much needed R&R! Also includes front porch, a large covered patio in backyard, a barbecue, central air conditioning and heat, satellite TV, and a laundry room with a brand new washer and dryer.
NEWS...Our home has a parlor Grand Piano in the living room now, it's very sentimental to us so please be careful with it but, if you play piano..enjoy, it sounds great!
Back patio steps lead directly to Deer Creek with a stream, waterfall, and forest in your own backyard! The recreation hall of California Hot Springs Resort is only a few steps away from the property; includes an Olympic pool, two jacuzzi's, a small store, market, deli, ice-cream parlor, and meal accommodations. Also, don't forget that the Trail of 100 Giants (cedars and sequoias over 2000 years old! The tallest trees in the world.) and Kern River is approx 1hr 15 for rafting, antiquing! There is also a Casino approx 1 hour away.

- Our backyard is a great place for bird watching. We have 3 bird feeders and a variety of species. Hot Springs Resort, a few minutes walk has a Natural Hot Springs Olympic sized pool, and two Jacuzzi's. Stream in the backyard with 3 waterfalls with a wading pool and plenty of stream to walk and explore and here are a couple of other activities that some of our renters have done during their stay: You just can't beat driving 35 min away to the "Trail of 100 Giants" the tallest Sequois in the world, · White River fishing, · Leavitt (sp?) Flats fishing, · Pine Flats store bar BBQ, · White water rafting on Upper Kern out of Kernville about 1hr 15 min away, · Hiking Parker Meadow, · Water skiing at lake Success, Porterville, about 45 min away

We chose to purchase this property because of the location. Right below the snow line, California Hot Springs, CA is a hidden treasure that not too many people know about, and is worth seeing, feeling, and drinking this great water all through out the year! Our home is one of the few that get this water inside right out of our faucet We also have the opportunity to either drive to the "Trail of 100 Giants" in 45 min or the "Sequoia National Park" in 2 hrs, and still have time to jump into a Natural Hot Springs pool/Jacuzzi and end the day with a beautiful fire, all in one day!
The Unique Benefits of this House
We love this home and being able to get to it and enjoy it during the summer months thru the winter makes it perfect vacation home. Getting up in the morning and having a cup of coffee on the deck and watching the birds and listening to the 25 foot stream flowing over the rocks in the backyard is my way of waking up and gathering energy for my day. Our stream flows all year long and you can hear it in and out of our home.
Taking one of the most relaxing baths in light blue natural hot springs water is also a plus and the atmosphere is very calming.
Our home is very unique and clean as a whistle! If you want a romantic get away or a peaceful place to relax, give us a call,you won't be dissapointed, it's a beautiful place to explore.
