The total renewal includes new hardwood floors, new windows, doors and furniture. This gorgeous three bedroom vacation rental property even has CENTRAL VAC. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the additional 2 bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed. For additional sleeping space, if needed, there is a large sofa which could accommodate an adult and a smaller sofa which could accommodate a child. There is a four piece bath with a tub/shower combination.
**This cottage will accommodate 6-8 for sleeping. However, the cottage next door will accommodate another 7-8. Please inquire about taking one cottage or the two together to accommodate your larger group**
This property boasts 2 separate sun decks, one of which is elevated above the water, just outside of the living area and the other at the waters edge providing excellent views of the tranquil waters of beautiful Lake Couchiching. The BBQ is located on the elevated deck where you can enjoy the fantastic water views while "showing your talents" cooking dinner on the BBQ.
Lake Couchiching is an important part of the WORLD FAMOUS Trent/Severn Waterway, one of the best known and enjoyed inland waterways of North America. For those looking for some "excitement", the Las Vegas style Casino Rama is just down the road.
A 32 foot dock to tie up your own watercraft or one from a local marina, which offers all crafts from a small fishing vessel to a large pontoon boat. You may wish to take a cruise around the lake in the paddle boat which is provided. Daily lake cruises are also available from the Orillia harbour.
Enjoy the spacious grass area for lawn games or just to slumber in your hammock or lawn chair on a lazy, sunny afternoon while the warm breezes of the Lake caress away your cares. In the evening, enjoy roasting marshmallos and telling stories around the bonfire.
The lake provides excellent swimming, fishing and boating.
A short stroll will take you into the quaint and historic town of Washago where there are a variety of eateries, ice cream parlours, variety stores and antique shops. There is even a video store for your evenings entertainment!
