This rental was everything as described and MORE! More beautiful than the picture. Had everything we needed. Very pleasant. The owner was very responsive and helpful. If a small family was planning to spend time in Malibu, this is the place to rent. Thank you for a wonderful experience which complemented our son's weding.

Fabulous! Far and away the best vacation rental we have experienced and we have rented quite a few. We were in Malibu for our daughter's Pepperdine graduation and needed a place to bring our family together from both coasts. The house was PERFECT. The two master suites and den were large and well appointed; the tile work in the two baths was exquisite. The central great room felt much larger than its footprint with its high ceilings and wall of tall glass French doors that opened to a patio paved with the same tiles as the interior space - a perfect place for family and friends to hang out and celebrate. Surrounded by landscaping that blended visually with the natural vegetation beyond the low property wall, the back patio felt safe and secluded. The front lawn stretched out luxuriously to a more formal garden complete with citrus trees and roses. Both outdoor areas were connected by a charming path that wound around trees and gardens. Last but not least were the bunnies who frequently ventured out from the shrubbery. We were very close to Zuma and Westward Beach (if you stood on your toes in the front of the house, you could see the Pacific Ocean) and both Starbucks were only a short drive in either direction not to mention the many great restaurants in Malibu. I am already thinking of a reason to return. Very very nice.

This house was everything we hoped for and more. It is beautifully maintained with comfortable seating in and out, well maintained, and comfortable beds. The bonus is the orchard- we were making fresh lemonade all week! The owner was very attentive to us. The house was beautifully cleaned for our arrival. We can't wait to come back. While you are there be sure to climb the Dume Point!

This home was exactly as pictured, if not better. Our short stay was just lovely in this cute casita that had everything one would need. And Lisa was very professional to work with. She was the only property owner (and I contacted a lot of properties) who got back to me within a timely matter. Would absolutely recommend this home to a couple of couples or a family who would like to stay in the Malibu area.

Beautiful casita! Immaculate inside with lots of wonderful ammenities. Short walk/ride to Zuma Beach (which was one of the best beaches I have ever visited). The grounds are lovely. Beautiful flowers, tress and fruit orchards. The owner communicates clearly, follows-up to questions/inquiries promptly and is very easy to deal with. We had a wonderful three day stay in Malibu. Getting into LA was easy. Relaxing by the beach and enjoying a lovely sunset stroll - even easier from this location! I highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit the Malibu/LA area. We had a wonderful time at your casita. It was just beautiful and perfect for our week-end with daughters in school there. We enjoyed the patio and the orchard was amazing. Close to the beach, great restaurants and school. Great california lemons! I would recommend this property to everyone! Thank you for sharing your property with us.

We are on a two week trip in LA, and could only secure one week at the Casita, so we booked in to Chateaux Marmont for the first week. We thought it couldn't get much better than the Chateaux, but we were wrong! When we drove up to the Casita, we could not believe how pretty it was. Then, we walked in and were totally blown away. Beautifully built, keeping a real Spanish theme with a modern twist, this Casita has everything you could ever need. PLUS, amazing gardens where you can pick you're own fruit! We will absolutely be back here! We would buy it if it was for sale! I can not recommend this Casita enough. It is a "must stay at" if you are planning to visit SoCal any time soon.

Our family fell in love with your house in zuma beach immediately. Everything a family could need is available (even sand toys for our kids). The kids loved to pick lemons and oranges in the garden for our fresh homemade lemonade. We all found relaxation in your gorgeous back yard or in front of the fireplace. My husband cooked delicious dinners in your professional kitchen and your spanish style bathroom was a dream. Inside and out the most beautiful spanish style house. Everything was perfectly clean and cozy. We would have loved to stay for good. Thank you!

We stayed in this lovely rental for the first week of January, and were pleasantly surprised that it was even more beautiful than it looked in the pictures. This is not our first VRBO rental; we've stayed in them all over the world, but this one was by far one of the best. It was like a luxury hotel with the convenience of being in your own home; every detail was thought of, from the lovely soaps and lotions in the pristine bathrooms, to the bag of beach toys and beach blankets in the extra room/study. The owners were friendly and flexible, even with our special requests. The location was private and peaceful, but minutes from a gorgeous Malibu beach. Highly recommended.

Four of us were in town from Texas and Colorado to plan and deliver a memorial serivce for a family member who was a Malibu resident. Unfortunately, the first day in town we arrived at our misrepresented initial rental property - only 1 functioning bath of the 2 advertised, no door locks, rain leaking through light fixtures and onto my head in the middle of the night - we thought were stuck! A frantic last minute call regarding this property was responded to within hours and with open arms and apologies for the situation, Lisa got the Casita cleaned ASAP and we were in that night! Literally just needing a roof (that didn't leak) over our heads, we were overwhelmingly suprised. A beautiful garden with roses and fruit trees, lovely quiet neighborhood, immaculate home and the customer service you'd expect from considerate individuals who love their work. So although our trip to Malibu was a somber one, this home made it less stressful and is definately a place we'd come back to and highly recommend.

My wife and I visited this great Spanish Style cassita in Malibu for two weeks, from England. Although we have lived in LA and Malibu over the years this was one of the most delightful locations we have experienced, not only in California but worldwide. The house was totally up to scratch with everything one would need for a great vacation, while the large gardens and back yard were an ideal retreat from Big City LA,and ideal for entertaining family and friends. Great proximity to beach, restaurants, and a great local groceries and produce market just at the end of the road made everything easy. Putting our money where our mouth is - were booking again for next year - only longer.

What a superb holiday home! Spacious, beautifully removated and tastefully furnished with an absolutely stunning garden. The location is quiet, peaceful and upmarket, yet is minutes from the beach and local amenities. Convenient for heading north to Santa Barbara and other coastal towns, or south to all that Los Angeles has to offer. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to other families.

We had a wonderful stay at the beautifully decorated and comfortable Malibu Casita. It was very quiet, save for the crows and song birds in the morning. This is a very private little house with a beautiful garden and we enjoyed numerous croquet games on the expansive front lawn. It was perfect for 2 couples, but I imagine great for a family too. Zuma beach is within walking distance, a wonderful beach with a lifeguard about every 75 feet on the weekends. If you're not familiar with Malibu, Zuma is on the North end of the city, ( 27 miles of scenic beauty) past Pepperdine University. We enjoyed hiking in Tapanga Park, the Getty Villa, the Adamson House and the Malibu lagoon. Also Will Rogers state park, all great. We always looked forward to coming back to the Casita to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the bunnies come out onto the lawn. The first night we stayed, we discovered there were no kitchen prep knives and I could not find a hairdryer. The next day we found them waiting on our doorstep. Now that's service. All in all, a great place to stay!

We stayed in the casita with two other couples and everyone raved about the beauty of the grounds and it's superb location. Very quiet, beautifully decorated and relaxing. The casita is within walking distance to the beach and is close to restaurants, grocery stores and bike rentals. It provided all of the ammenities that we needed for our trip and more. The highlight of our stay was grilling in the backyard and playing badminton on the front lawn. I can honestly say that we can't wait to return.

I will reccomment this property to all my family and friends. Not only was its location ideal for us, it is so close to the ocean that we drove our bikes, and walked the beach each day and evening. One day we even set up our croquet game on the amazing manicured lawns you see from the picture. The home is cozy and clean, also amazingly quiet! I cant say enough about it. Malibu provided a perfect vacation for us and the grounds were breathtaking. Homeowners did a great job with keeping in the theme of architecture and providing great reads about the area. They made our stay so easy and comfortable.

The Casita not only met all of our expectations, it exceeded them. Fantastic manicured gardens, secluded private patio, beautifully appointed living areas with light and airy rooms. Our hosts thought of every possible need and made sure we were completely comfortable. We have stayed in homes in many countries as well as in the US and this one was truly one of, if not, the best. They offer services if they are required, but also give you the privacy you need and deserve. We have already promised a return trip and I am sure any future guests will do the same. We can't wait to return to Malibu and Zuma. The fresh air, beach and great food all came as promised and were more than we could have hoped for.
