  A little piece of Heaven -- This is definitely a hidden jewel -- it was definitely way beyond our expectations. We had 5 adults and were very pleased with the accomodations and decorations. We could sit at the dining room table or living room and see the ocean. The pool and water fall were a plus - very tropical and tranquil. The place was clean, kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable, tvs in all rooms (Living and both bedrooms). Vivian is very good to work with and went over and beyond with answering any questions we had. We will definitely book this place again when we are down in N. Padre area. THANK YOU Vivian for such a lovely place to stay! Can't wait for our next trip!

  We stayed at this property Memorial Weekend thru May 31, 2012. The condo description was accurate. We loved how close the property was to the beach. The furnishings were comfortable and the full kitchen was a plus. We had a family reunion with members staying at other properties and they really loved our place. The owner was very easy to work with along with the rental management company. I highly recommend this property!!!

  My family and I stayed here at this condo without any major issues. The owner of this condo was very nice and easy to deal with from start to finish. When we arrived there was a small leak under the sink, I called the owner and someone came out and repaired the problem. She was very glad I called and informed her of the situation. The property was very clean and accompanied with decent neighbors to socialize with. The courtyard was very comfortable when you have some downtime in the evenings to prepare grilled foods and let the kids swim in the pool. My 76 years old grandmother also came with us on our trip and she just loved the condo and was very impressed with the quality of comfort and decorations within the condo. We're looking forward to our next stay next summer!!!

  This condo has to be one of the best kept secrets on North Padre. It is such a great value based on the location and cost--literally right across the street from the beach. There is a fountain in the courtyard below, and when you step outside the condo's door, you hear the soothing sounds of the water fountain. It is very peaceful, clean, and tastefully decorated. We had a good time on this trip and would consider renting this condo again.

  I will start with the positive: The property was clean and decorated very nicely. The location was good. It was a short walk across the road and through a beach access parking lot to reach the beach. Negative: I'm a single mother and I booked the condo from July 26-31. Unfortunately Tropical Storm Don was headed to the Padre area and I had to make the call to ride it out with my 2 daughters or leave. I choose to leave Friday morning and not take the chance of any injury or being stranded. I did hear after returning home that Don didn't do as much as was predicted, but I had no way of knowing that when the decision had to be made. I emailed the owner upon return asking her policy for this type of scenario. I have received no response. I've called VRBO, and unfortunately they cannot help. They stated the agreement is between me and the owner and they have no responsibility. My lessons learned will hopefully help anyone that chooses to use VRBO. Ask for the policy up front. You are not checking into a hotel that will not charge you for those days you are unable to stay. On a personal note - Her responsiveness to receiving my deposit and final payment was also less than I would have expected for a business transaction. My email to the owner was simply asking what her policy is for this situation. I have received NO response which is frustrating. The owner has my $$, and I can only assume she doesn't care if I ever stay there again. Be aware that if you are considering renting this condo, she is not concerned with repeat business or word of mouth experience.

  Owner response: This is my policy: If the county or state has a mandatory evacuation notice, a full refund is made on a prorata basis. If it rains or is cloudy or if it snows, I cannot give a refund.

  Very nice condo to stay in. Right across from the beach. I Love the atmosphere. The pool and bar bq area is very tropical and makes you feel very relaxed. I love to stay in this condo. Will continue to stay here each summer on my family vacation.
