This cozy little retreat is located 8.5 miles south of Lake George, between Eleven Mile Canyon and Eleven Mile Reservoir. Beautifully treed with a view of private lake (fishing reserved for members only-but you can picnic and operate non-motorized watercraft if you wish).
ATV into Eleven Mile Canyon (the back way), or simply drive there. Ten minutes north to the canyon, ten minutes south to the reservoir. You pick! ATV, dirt bike, and snowmobile rental and delivery available, subject to availability. Horseback riding and boat rental nearby.
This cabin is completely furnished and includes 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, laundry, fully equipped kitchen, and fenced yard.
Sleeps 4-6. Plenty of seating and lots of natural light. Wood burning stove. WiFi internet.
Partially covered deck affords comfortable outdoor living. Covered hot tub with view of lake.
Not your typical rental, this home is a fully equipped home. Just bring clothes and food!

About Lake George
Lake George is one of the best vacation spots in Colorado, or the Western United States for that matter. We have beautiful lakes, pristine rivers, gold medal fishing, hunting, hiking, state parks and campgrounds. We are just 30 minutes from gaming in famous Cripple Creek, and just 90 minutes from skiing in fabulous Breckenridge. There are also some hidden treasures, like Cottonwood Hot Springs in Buena Vista just 40 minutes away. Lake George is just 45 miles west of Colorado Springs along Highway 24.

Why the Owner Chose Lake GeorgeWe chose this home for its "out of the way" location, easy access and beautiful setting. We love the lake view and the close proximity to National Forest. We love the convenience of "one-level" living and the "warm" decor of the cabin.
The Unique Benefits at this CabinVisitors will enjoy being centrally located between the gold medal fly fishing waters of the South Platte River and lake fishing at Eleven Mile Reservoir. They will enjoy close proximity to National Forest and off-road access to Eleven Mile Canyon. Many will also enjoy walking around the private lake (members only fishing, however) and picnicing at the lake or on the private deck. Dog owners and parents of small children will appreciate the 3/4 acre fenced yard. Everyone enjoys the hot tub. Many will appreciate that this is a pet-friendly and smoke-free home.

I grew up in the country and live in the city. What a welcome retreat this cabin was for my soul. So peaceful , with deer prancing by the deck, hummingbirds nipping from the feeder, and the sound of the wind blowing through the trees. My girlfriend and I hiked, took afternoon naps and enjoyed the BBQ on the deck. We finished off the day with a hot tub soak and slept like a rock. This cabin is equiped with all the comforts of home . Thankyou Susan and Tim for sharing your home with us city folk.

This cabin was amazing! We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was perfect :) We spent a lot of time sitting on the deck, taking in the view and watching various wildlife right before our eyes. Lots of deer and hummingbirds. The hot tub worked beautifully and was just what we needed to relax after months of planning a wedding. The cabin itself was great - only needed to bring food and clothes. The kitchen was very well stocked. Great movie selection. Very clean and animal friendly - we loved that the back yard was totally fenced in so our dog could roam around and take in all the new smells. 11 mile Canyon and Lake George are very close so we checked out those places and got to do some hiking. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. We will sure be back! Thanks Tim and Susan :)

Cabin was great, as was the kitchen, the deck, the yard, the hot tub and the location. It's a short walk to a small lake and 15-20 min drive to 11 Mile State Park. (Be sure to bring cash or check for the parking...) We went with 2 kayaks and 2 dogs and the weather was perfect and it was very nice. There's next to no cell reception, but they have wifi, so you can use google voice for any phone calls. The shower was a little funny, but nothing that wasn't shown in photos, and the owners stock paper products and soaps and things, which was an added bonus. Our only major issue was not wanting to leave!

This lovely mountain home was furnished better than any other place we've stayed! The kitchen had everything you would have at home and a great stove/oven. Love that we could bring our dog and bird along as well. The hot tub and hammock are very relaxing. The only things it lacked was tv reception, but did have movies and internet connection (which can be good to take a break from) and a hair dryer which we'd forgotten to pack. We have this on our list of places to return to. It would be ideal to be able to use the lake, but the reservoir isn't too far away. Thank you for a nice get away!

I recently stayed in this beautiful cabin home and was highly impressed with the classic decor and every accouterments you can possibly imagine! There is a kitchen fully stocked with dishes. There are towels including beach towels to be used for the enormous hot tub! The beds are cozy and the view fantastic. You can sit on the back patio and view the gorgeous nearby pond with ducks and geese and birds of all kinds. It is quiet and tranquil. I would love to stay again as it was the best vacation rental I have ever come across. It is definitely worth enjoying yourself!

Thank you - Thank you. We enjoyed our stay. Excellent accomodations. The information about the property was accurate and the photos accurately displayed the property. As a restaurant operator the property was clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed the hot tub,video library, the fireplace and the deck overlooking the lake. The kitchen was very accomodating with all the necessary needs to prepare home cooked meals. Love the blue tile. We enjoyed the scenic drive and the fishing of Blue Mountain Canyon, and Eleven Mile Reservor. We also enjoyed the near by towns, Divide,Woodland Park and Manitou Springs. We definetly reccomend for your next stay.

We stayed in this cabin for Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful time. It was so relaxing. The movies in the cabin were great for my son to watch. Also, I thought it was great that there were childrens books there as well so I could read to my son before bed. Loved the Wood burning stove (great for roasting marshmellows). There are tons of ATV riding trails there and we also were only about 6 miles from Eleven Mile canyon, which was beautiful as well. Had a Great Time!!!!

This was a wonderful stay we had at this cabin! Cabin was clean and comfortable. Very roomy for a "cabin." The owner is very friendly and we were able to bring our dogs. Enjoyed the hot tub and view and a nice walk around the lake. Wonderful experience!!
