Our lovely Vacation Property is nestled at a Lake Cove on 2 acres in a beautiful wooded and tranquil setting at Old Hickory Lake. It consists of two distinct Cabins both accessed through a lovely "Breezeway", each with two Private and secure entrances. Our vacation property offers three very comfortable lodging options for your consideration:
(A)"EAGLE'S REST" CABIN (vrbo 154531),is a wonderful 2 bedroom, 1 bath home that comfortably sleeps 4 in beds and one on a fold-out cot. This Cabins full description and photos are available on this page.
(B)"EAGLE'S LANDING" CABIN (see vrbo 251713) is a very lovely home which offers 3 bedrooms and 2 baths that comfortably sleeps 6 in beds and one on a fold-out cot.
(C)Rent both Cabins for larger family gatherings. Combined, both Cabins offer 5 bedrooms and 3 baths with 10 people in beds and 2 on fold-out cots. Contact Owner for additional information and pricing for your lodging needs.

Home Description:
"EAGLE'S REST" Cabin: This lovely 2 bedroom, 1 bath home's family sitting area is open and comfortable where you can enjoy sitting by the roaring fire on those cold nights. Great outdoor living in the lovely breeze-way patio area where you can enjoy the lake view on one side and the country-side on the other. There is also a large front deck for your enjoyment with an unencumbered view of the Lake and property.
EAGLE'S REST is tastefully decorated to make you feel at home and yet still feel like you are on Vacation. The large Master Bedroom has a lake view and a very comfortable pillow-top Queen-size bed with luxury linens. The second bedroom is also beautifully decorated and has 2 very comfortable twin beds. There is a full bathroom with Hair Dryer. Linens and Towels provided.
The Kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Our Guests have use of a gas BBQ, and for those that don't cook, you can enjoy a great meal at the Marina just a few minutes away or at any number of other tasty restaurants nearby.
The area is rich in History. There's lots to see and do locally. If you like to fish, bring along your fishing pole as the Cove is deep and full of fish. Two "old-fashioned" fishing cane poles provided for the little ones. You can shop...great antique stores, rest, hunt, boating, hiking, fishing, restaurants, it's all here and close to our Cabin. If you enjoy History, there are numerous Historic Homes and other sites close by for you to explore.
This area is well known for it's National Fishing Tournaments, Wake Board tournaments, World Class Water Skiing, Soft Ball and Golf Tournaments. Who would have ever thought..right here in the wonderfully lush hills and valleys of Tennessee! Three golf courses located nearby.
You can also enjoy the Country Quiet by visiting quaint Gallatin with it's old country Courthouse, restaurants and antique store on the town square. Or take in close-by Nashville...the capital of Country Music or "Music City" with all of it's Big-City sights, sounds and activities all combined together with genuine southern hospitality.
"EAGLE'S REST" Cabin is a special place...Come and Enjoy the lovely tree-scented air, views and cool breezes off the Lake.
PS:We recommend you try the "English Garden Tea Room" as well as the "Chocolate Covered Strawberry" restaurants in Gallatin about a 10-15 minute drive...both have wonderful food and decor. You'll love the ambiance...both are located in old homes. Menus are at our cabin. You can google "tea room directory" and check it out.
