Everything was fine, we had a great time. Description was decieving, says sleeps 6 and when we arrived there was one queen bed and two double bunk beds. My one friend and I were VERY comfortable staying there however we had 2 people visit for a day and the livingroom space was crowded with the extra bodies in the area.

My husband and I came up to Tahoe with our 2 young kids (2.5 yr. old and 5 mon old). Grandma also came to babysit :) This condo was perfect for us. When we walked in, we were immediately impressed with the warm, homey atmosphere. Comfy sofa and bed, plush carpet, and two bathrooms - perfect for a potty-training toddler. The kitchen was well stocked (but bring your own oil). We mostly cooked and didn't eat out much. The location was perfect for us - close to Granlibakken, where my 2 year old spent all day sledding!

There was pretty big selection of properties available when we planned our weekend trip a couple of weeks back, but we decided to return to where we stayed last year because of the location and known quality. We were really surprised with the number of upgrades, small and large, the condo had in the last year. It's a great place to enjoy at any weather, and we like it a lot because of the location. We are looking forward to coming back again.

Loved this condo. It was incredibly comfortable. I know because I also own 2 condos I rent on VRBO: SmittyNYUSA Everything was in immaculate condition. The beds were very well dressed and super comfortable. Many nice little touches which were superior to the finest hotel. Tahoe City is a great place for restaurants and shopping. I stayed in the ski season and it's a nice short drive to several ski areas. Got a great price with a last minute deal. Owner was super pleasant and easy to deal with.

Mick (the owner) was a pleasure to work with. He made everthing nice and easy. The place was neat, clean and very convienent to the downtown area and ski mountains. The hot tub was a really nice feature at about 50 yards away. The king bed in the master bed was alittle uncomfortable and really squeaky but not a huge issue. I was really looking forward to having a real wood fire but didnt realize only chem-logs could be burned due to the TV above the fire place. The positives of the place definitely out weight the negatives. I would absolutely reccommend to a group of skiers or small family.

Relaxing Condo

This is a quiet, relaxing and cozy condo..we enjoyed our stay very much. It is definitely close to many ski resorts, stores, and gorgeous views of the lake. So much nicer to stay here than in a hotel room with the extra room for the kids!

My parents and I rented the condo with the expectation that we would be skiing in early January. The snow was disappointing but the hiking was amazing. It was nice to come back to the condo each day - it was in good condition and met our needs perfectly.

The condo was great, exactly what we needed for our two night stay. There was a small heating issue but the owner took care of it very quickly. The location was close to grocery stores, Squaw and the Crystal Lake casinos which was great for us. Everything was clean and overall we couldn't have asked for a lot more. Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Condo on North Shore

My family of four just stayed at this condo and loved it. It is the perfect size for 2 adults and 2 kids and is beautifully appointed and well stocked. It is very close to both Sqaw Valley and Alpine Meadows. The hot tub is a great place to go after a long day of skiing and is kept at a good, hot temperature. The sheets are very soft and the beds comfortable. There are plenty of towels and also extra towels for use at the hot tub. All in all a wonderful place to stay, definetly will return again.

We spent about 4/5 days in this wonderful condo and couldn't have been more pleased with our selection. There were 3 adults and 2 kids (1 y.o. and 3 y.o.) so the place was perfect for us. Condo is in perfect location, with plenty of amenities and comfortable furnishings. We truly enjoyed this wonderful home and plan to go back soon once the snow is fully in. As for the customer service we received from the owner, it was excellent. Can't complaint about anything and we would highly recommend this place.

Great November Visit!

My husband and I stayed here with another couple the last "off-season" weekend this fall, and had a lovely stay. The location was ideal (very close to Tahoe City), in a pretty quiet complex. We appreciated the extendable table downstairs that worked great for games, and the fireplace, as well as the nicely set up kitchen (the beer glasses in the freezer were especially appreciated!). I probably wouldn't recommend more than 4 adults staying here, and I might say a family would be better situated than 2 couples (while the bunk bed was very comfortable, the low head clearance made it slightly less ideal than the gorgeous master next door for a couple, but we could imagine it being perfect for a family with kids). We also had a little trouble with keeping the heater on, but nothing we couldn't handle. Overall, we had a great stay, and would highly recommend this place for a couple, a family, or 2 couples looking for an economical place to stay near Tahoe City.

My girlfriend and I were in Tahoe for a friend's wedding and stayed at this very comfortable condo. The place looks like it was newly redone in a lot of areas with granite counter tops and a nice tile shower. The condo has everything you need for a great weekend, including speakers for your iPhone/iPod! Plus it's a just a short drive to Tahoe City and a quick walk to the public beach, so the location is wonderful. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in the north lake area.

We had a group of 5 planning a very last-minute trip to Tahoe City and stumbled upon this little treasure! The condo is in a great location, just a few minutes from everything in Tahoe City. Accommodations were very comfortable and perfect for our group. A spacious kitchen for cooking, nice size living room and couch to relax and comfortable beds. I also appreciated the iPod dock provided! We used the back patio to bbq and the spa is very short walk away. The last-minute rates made this more than worth it! We were very lucky to find this place!

First summer in Tahoe - we fell in love and I think this condo played a big part! Really ideally located in Tahoe AND in the complex. Close to tennis courts and pools, but not TOO close! Basic necessities were all provided for, even a pizza cutter! The owner was promptly responsive and available. FOOD: Breakfast - Log Cabin was very good. Don't know if it's the BEST breakfast, but very good. Truckee Thursdays - during the summer months, a little street fair. The BEST part was pork ribs from "Full Belly Deli." Seriously the meat melted off the bones. The best pork ribs I have EVER had. Kayaking - we had such a great time maneuvering around the submerged boulders and the water temp was just perfect for a swim. Awesome (long and easy) bike path mostly separate from the highway along the Truckee river. I would definitely recommend.

We truly enjoyed our stay in your home, It was clean, well maintained had some extra amenities and of course, a wonderful location. Close enough to Tahoe City and was easily accessable to the Lake Tahoe area. The pool was great for a bit of relaxation. We found an excellent restaurant behind the property, Bacchi's. The owner was very helpful and prompt in response to any questions we had. I would definitely return to this property!

We had a terrific stay at this cozy, comfortable condo! We had everything we needed in the kitchen, and loved grilling and enjoying our meals on the outdoor deck. Very close to Tahoe City, and only a short distance to the Lake with a quiet public park and picnic area. The rental experience was easy and very professional. I would highly recommend this to anyone, and look forward to returning in the future!

Our group consisted of three friends staying for a few days of hiking. The condo was extremely good value for the money -- close to hiking trails, grocery stores, and (of course) the lake, with helpfully stocked kitchen and grill so that we can cook at home in the evenings. While the condo complex is not the most glamorous, the condo itself was well-appointed and had all the things we needed, including firelogs for evening fires. Recommended for small groups looking to enjoy Tahoe while still having the comfort and flexibility of a home-like place to stay. Owner was also very responsive to questions and inquiries.

Great Stay

My friends and I stayed here last weekend and had a wonderful time. The condo has lots of space, the main room is very comfortable and both full baths are really clean. We skied at both Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows which were only 10 minutes away. It's a 2 minute drive into town for groceries, dinner etc. It was a great condo and we can't wait to come back soon!

For the second year enjoyed a terrific family (of 5) ski vacation with great accomodations at the Lake Forest condo. Centrally located on Tahoe's north shore nearby options include Homewoood, Squaw, Alpine, Northstar and Diamondpeak. The condo is clean and well supplied with all the needed home amenities. Was also pleasantly surprised to find further upgrades to the unit which made the stay that much more enjoyable. Two thumbs way up!

Terrific Condo In Tahoe City

This is a very, very nice condo located in a great property close to Tahoe City and both Alpine Meadows Ski Area and Squaw Valley. The condo is in fantastic shape and it feels like a home away from home. It is well furnished with comfortable couches and chairs and the living room has a nice plasma TV with a DVD player and cable. It was also nice having WiFi that was super fast. The kitchen is outfitted with almost everything imaginable; it even had several sets of proper wine glasses. There is seating at a bar area that connects to the kitchen which made it easy getting the kids fed. Nice granite counter tops, too. The bedrooms are very nice and the queen bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and had very nice bedding. The other bedroom had queen bunk beds which could comfortably sleep two couples. Televisions were in both bedrooms. The bathrooms are fine (the downstairs bathroom was recently redone and is very nice). We were able to enjoy the hot tub on both days and met some really cool people as well. It is a big hot tub that can easily accommodate 12 people. All in all, a perfect experience and I will certainly rent in the very near future!

Exceptional Condo Accommodation and Amenities

Just got back from a stay at this property. I have been to many different condo rentals, hotels, and resorts in the Lake Tahoe area and wanted to say this property is one of the best I've been to in a while. Fast and courteous response directly from the owner made reserving and paying a breeze. Emails and phone call were responded in a super-fast manner. The property is located within a large condo complex. Not extremely eye-catching but the unit inside is excellently decorated. Everything you need in a "residential" style unit is included. Big screen TV and fireplace in the living room. Eat-in Bar. Washer/Dryer. The 1st floor bath extremely nice with rainforest shower. 2nd Floor has two bedrooms. Master bedroom has a super comfortable bed and cable TV. Second bedroom had a double bunk. Bedding is hotel-style. 2nd floor also has a bedroom. Overall an excellent experience. I would compare this condo unit to the Hyatt Sierra Lodge units in Incline Village or the units at the Village at Squaw Valley. Thanks for a great stay. Will definitely want to return next time I'm in town. Would recommend to anyone.

My girlfriend, a buddy and I stayed here late January, 2010, during a ski trip. The condo was clean, well appointed and stocked with everything we needed. It was in a good location--less than five minutes from town and a short walk to the lake. I would definitely consider staying there should I return to the Tahoe area.

We took our first season trip to Tahoe and decided to rent a vacation rental. We came along Mick's condo and tried it out. Best stay! Clean comfortable and very affordable. It's in the best location close to Alpine and conveniently close to Safeway and all of Tahoe cities restaurants. I would highly reccomend staying here. Mick is easy to work with and the place is great!

Love Lake Tahoe

Checking into the condo was very easy and quick. The directions to the condo were very accurate and easy to follow. The location was extremely convenient for my friends and I. We were able to visit Emerald Bay, enjoy Tahoe City, or just relax by the fireplace. The condo is surrouded by beautiful trees and other scenery that Lake Tahoe has to offer, yet close enough to Tahoe city that we coud drive five minutes to the store if necessary. It was convenient to have a kitchen with stove, dishwasher, and all other kitchen ware that we might need. It was our home away from home! The condo is also equipped with WiFi connection, flatscreen TV, hottub and pool. The condo waswell decorated and the property was very neat and well-kept. You could tell that the owners take pride in their property. Our vacation was absolutely perfect and I hope to return to the same location soon.

This is our first time staying in this area. We loved our stay, and one of the reasons we did, is because of this place. I also want to thank the owner for being very responsive and helpful when we had power outage. He was in touch with us pretty much all the time until we had the light back and sent his local man with the supplies we needed. We had a great time at my niece's wedding! The condo is very nice and comfortable. The decor is fabulous especially the master bedroom and the kitchen! We even ate breakfast on the back deck one morning. I'm just sorry we didn't have time to check out the hot tub or relax in front of the fireplace. My husband loved the TV. We also recieved our deposit back promptly.

This was an excellent place for myself and my two daughters! We spent a week here and it was exactly what I had hoped. Mick's place was clean, nicely done, and home-y. Being vegan, we do most of our cooking in, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was everything I had hoped, and Mick was great about answering my questions prior to renting. My girls and I love to trail bike, and Mick assurred me we could access the main bike trail from the condo. We rode our bikes into Tahoe City to breakfast, to view the lake in the evening, to Commons Beach, to Fanny Bridge, to the ski boat we rented for the day, to ... just about everywhere! We were stones throw from the launching point for rafting down the Truckee River to River Ranch - a must do!!; a short drive to Squaw, where we rode the Gondola up to High Camp and spent the day swimming and taking in the sites at 9,000 ft; and another short drive in the opposite direction to Kings Beach. And, at the end of every day, it was great to sink in the jacuzzi tub back at the condo. While we are not much of TV watchers - we did turn on and check out the awesome big screen TV. And, I had no issues with the wireless connection for my email. Definitely, a fantastic place in a great location for the kind of vacation me and my two daughters wanted in Lake Tahoe. We will definitely be back!

This condo provided a great introduction to renting places in Tahoe. You can see the amenities and comforts from the photos, but another great feature was the fact that you park you car right in front of the front door - very convenient!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mick's condo at Tahoe City. Walked to the beach each day, enjoyed the lovely deck, relaxed and unwound. Shakespeare festival was fun; Evan's restaurant in South Shore was delish and we highly recommend the convenience and amenities of this lovely home away from home.

plse, first excuse my english, we are from France, on holidays visiting Tahoe for the wedding of my son ! nice place to stay , quiet place with all we need, and for us it was surprising to see so many squirrels, bluejays and others racoons. take time to visit Lake Tahoe it's wonderfull

My wife, three kids (6, 8, 10) and I really enjoyed the condo and all its amenities!  We stayed there for 3 nights last winter (2010) in March for our ski trip to Diamond Peak.  Great, central location for North Shore.  Very clean, functional (incl. wireless internet) with all you would need for a cozy and enjoyable vacation.  I would highly recommend this condo to friends and family.

Nice little 2-story condo. Thoroughly appreciated the well set up kitchen and the sauna and outdoor hot tub just a short walk away. Very convenient to all north Tahoe ski areas. Mick was easy to communicate with. Would love to stay again in the future!

Clean and comfortable - had everything we needed. It was a perfect location for skiing a number of resorts and the jacuzzi around the building was of great service. I would certainly return any season.

I had a wonderful stay here with a few of my closest friends. We definitely felt like this was our own Tahoe condo even though it was only for the weekend. Can't wait to come back. Oh and it is in the perfect location... close to all the best North Lake Ski Resorts! Thanks Mick!
