This is an absolutely awesome property. I have stayed here twice over the past eighteen months and is close to all that Key West has to offer. You can swim in the outdoor pool right outside your door. Snorkel, Fish or take a Boating tour from the Marina that is on the property. This spacious three bedroom condo that has everything you need for an incredible vacation for two or the whole family. When you first walk in you notice all the Tile and great décor as well as the fully stocked Kitchen with Granite countertops. It was a pleasure to make meals here and it felt like I was cooking at home. I had everything I needed. The living room and dinning room had more than enough space to seat numerous people with a balcony that overlooked the pool and water. The bedrooms were all spacious with plenty of room for all your personal items to be stored. The Master had the overlooking balcony as well which was fantastic to sit outside at night. You are located close to town for all the entertainment and nightlife but it was nice to come back and relax in a quieter part of town and take a dip in the pool. This property is well maintained, up to date and most of all clean. I will definitely be back. It was everything you could want on a vacation and you had all the comforts of home.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

First, the condo is first rate and a great value. However, Kings Pointe is actually on Stock Island, not Key West. Key West is only minutes away, but Stock Island is more industrial and there isn't anything to do. So everytime you want to do something, you have to drive into Key West. Also, you can't see the sunrise or sunset from the condo. However, if what you really want to do is vegout in a really nice condo, it is perfect. Finally, the Sailfish Club has been closed for a year.
Owner response:Dogg J I thank you for your review and since it is less than a five star perfect review I feel I have misrepresented something... you were not 100% satisfied or 100% happy with your stay. So as I feel some of your review is accurate, like the Sailfish Club being closed in December 2009, what you don't know is I am as unhappy as you are, because I paid $2200.00 for a lifetime membership so my condo guests could use this private Sailfish Club. The sunrise can be seen from the condo during the summer months, Stock Island is part of Key West, It is served by Key West government, utilities, postal service and I pay KW taxes and is at the 4 mile marker on US Rt 1. You are also correct, it is not a hotel property with beach concessions and people with their hands out looking for tourists. But I disagree that their isn't anything to do. Swimming pool, Snorkling, Parasailing, Boat Rentals, and Fishing are just steps away, Jet skiing, Kayaking, Paddle Boarding, and Scuba Diving are 1/4 mile away at Hurricane Hole(Stock Island) WaterSports, Those folks will pick you up and Drop you back if you need a ride. Five Sixes taxi service is one block away. The Key West Golf Club 18 hole championship golf course is also just 1/4 mile away an Stock Island. Smathers Beach, rated one of the top ten beaches in the world, is only 1 mile away. I agree, Duval Street, the bars and tourist traps of Key West you will need to drive to. But Stock Island has Four of the Best Restaurants in Key West... HogFish, Hurricane Hole, Rusty Anchor and the Zagats Rated Chico's Cantina. You can buy fresh fish, shellfish, lobster and stone crab everyday in season at the Key West Lobster Co. or at FishBusterz or the Shrimp Shack all on Stock Island. The Tennessee Williams theater holds shows nightly also 1/4 mile away. Fast food, Liquor stores, clothing outlets all within 1/4 mile. I believe you are what you make it... You stayed during spring break and maybe you were looking for the craziness of Duval and the all night partying associated with downtown Key West. I am pleased to provide my guests a nicely appointed comfortable condo at a terrific price close enough to Duval and far enough away to relax and enjoy your stay.... I am very sorry I did not meet your expectations 100%... I am very glad you loved the condo and felt comfortable while you were there. I welcome positive feedback and I work hard keeping the condo fresh and welcome for my guests... Lastly I've been a Key West resident for 11 year
