DESCRIPTION: Situated on the first hole of Galleon Golf Course in Shipyard Plantation, this 2 Bedroom/2 Bath (king, 2 twins, sleeper sofa) Waterford villa offers affordable luxury and comfort with the privacy of an end unit. You will enjoy great fairway and lagoon views from the three large bay windows and patio doors. Nestled among tall pine and oak trees, Waterford is quiet and secluded, but also convenient to all that beautiful Hilton Head Island has to see and do.
As you enter our villa, you will first notice the beautiful heart of pine floors in the foyer, dining room and kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen has new appliances, white cabinetry, refrigerator with ice maker, and a large bay window. The dining area has a glass top table and wet bar room divider. The spacious living room features a fireplace, light beige carpet, and new furniture including a queen sleeper sofa and big screen TV with cable service and DVD/VCR. Free internet connection is available for your use. Patio doors open to a large patio complete with table and seating for six and a gas grill for cooking your favorite beach food.
Upstairs, the Master Bedroom boasts white wicker furniture, new king size bed, cable TV with DVD, and bay window overlooking the golf course and nearby lagoon. There is ample closet space. The master bath has new ceramic tile and a large walk-in shower with rain water shower head. The second bedroom has twin beds, twin closets, and a built-in chest of drawers as well as a large bay window looking out to the serene park-like setting. This bedroom also has cable TV. A full ceramic bath with combination tub/shower is part of the second bedroom suite. Also located upstairs is a convenient laundry with washer and dryer.
Amenities at Waterford Villas include a community swimming pool and a tennis court. Waterford is just a short distance from the ocean, and access is provided to Shipyard Plantation's private, pristine, white sandy beach. Paved biking/jogging trails meander to the beach and throughout Shipyard Plantation providing yet another way to enjoy the beauty of Hilton Head. For your golfing and tennis pleasure, Shipyard is home to 3 nine-hole golf courses and Van der Meer Racquet Club.
Lastly, Waterford is located just inside the main gate at Shipyard Plantation which offers easy and quick access to shopping, restaurants, and other beach activities including fishing, kayaking, parasailing, and dolphin watching. Vacationers and residents alike agree that Hilton Head Island is a very special place with something for everyone.

Like a downtown area, Coligny offers grocery store, hardware store, restaurants galore serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, coffee shop, gift shops and theater.
Villa is located just minutes from Shipyard's private beach. Bike riding on the beach is a favorite activity.
Shipyard Golf Club is a 27-hole course. The clubhouse is right next door to Waterford, a good place for a quick bite.

We have stayed twice and absolutely love the decor and feel right at home in this Unit. Very clean and just perfect for our family, two adults and two teenagers.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This was a wonderful villa to stay in! It had everything would could have needed, especially in the kitchen. The property was wonderful, as was the proximity to the pool and beach access. Thank you so much!
