Loved staying at this condo. It was well equipped, clean, comfortable and roomy. Just as nice as the pictures showed. The location was awesome, beautiful view, and an easy walk to the beach. Market nearby was great, and plenty of eating choices. The pool was warm and inviting, and we cooked and ate at the big bbq area. We rented this unit with another unit in this complex by the same owner, and found the owner to be easy to work with. Favorite activities for us were Flumin da Ditch, the Seahorse breeding facilty, and the Volcano National Park (worth the drive). We also loved the Paniola Country Inn at Waimea.

Great Condo in Vista Waikoloa

This was our first time staying in the Waikoloa area of the big island and we had a great time, This condo is very nice. We had family staying in two other ones on the same property and this was by far the best one. The floor plan is nice and the owner's have taken such great effort in the decor, etc. The location of the building in the Vista's was also nice because we could easily get to the sidewalk, which takes you up to the shopping areas and beach. The owners were pleasant and easy to work with, everything went smoothly. We would definitely stay here again.

Your condo was just right. The size was great, the furnishing comfortable and tasteful (for who want to spend 10 days in an ugly environment!?), the lanai huge and inviting, and we had everything we needed, right down to the beach towels, boogie boards, beach mats and cooler. The beds were fine sleeping and with the ceiling fans running, the place was a cool temp. (even nice while the complex was upgrading the AC and it was turned off). We have two kids 8 and 11 and they both loved it. The pool was PERFECT...at 3.5 feet deep form end to end, we could let them swim to their hearts content while we lounged poolside (no hyper-vigilance when they wandered to the deep end...there IS no deep end!) The only draw back was the road could be a bit noisy in the early a.m., when deliveries were being made. With the doors closed, this was minor. Sylvia, you were a pleasure to work with, responded to all my correspondence and handled the finances without any difficulty. If/when we return to the big island, we will be calling you! p.s. to other parents, you might consider spending $80 and get a pool pass to the Hilton's pools - three pools, including salt water lagoon- and right across the street.

When we first came in, my 'kids' said Wow, what a nice place! I think they were surprised how nice it was in terms of size, beautiful decorations, and comfortable furniture. They hadn't seen your web site, so this made me happy to see them enjoy the property so well. perfect location, and I even liked the parking spot right near the stairs! it worked out perfectly, with the 'girls' (20 and 20 yrs old) in the back bedroom, my son (32 yrs old) in the second bedroom and me in the living room. I had the best room because of the fabulous dawn in the mornings, and I am a very early riser, so I was able to move about, make coffee, read books, go for a run before any of the kids got up. perfect. We vacuumed, started some laundry, took out trash, put things away, cleaned kitchen, and electric grill, etc. and managed, I hope, not to damage anything. I was pleased that everyone worked to make sure the condo was in shape, which showed how much they enjoyed and respected being there. anyway, if we return, I will be sure to contact you. I stayed for 8 days in June with my husband and two teenage daughters in this beautiful condominium. The location was perfect- a ten minute walk to the beach at A Bay, and the same to the shops at King's and Queen's Marketplace. It was also a short drive up the coast to other beautiful beaches at Mauna Kea and Hapuna, or down the coast to Kona and snorkeling and kayaking at Cook's monument. Beach chairs and boogie boards were provided! The condo was lovely and comfortable and very well equipped for cooking at home, with lots of little extras like spices and plastic wrap provided. We enjoyed the view of the volcano over the golf course and loved the breezes. There was some road noise from passing cars at times, but otherwise the location was nice and quiet. The girls had to share a bed in the second bedroom, but it was so comfortable they didn't mind. Sylvia and the manager were very responsive to any questions and concerns we had. Overall it was an A+ stay! We would certainly recommend this unit to others and hope to return some day.

We loved your condo. It's very beautiful and well located. If I'll come back, I will stay here for sure. We came to climb the Mauna Kea in preparation to my base camp (Everest) next month. It went well and I'm confident now to reach my goal. We did some trek on the island, we drove all around the island and went to the beach twice. Next time we will bring our wives with us.

For the past two years we've had extended stays in this condo and another (#126738) in the same complex that is also owned by Sylvia. We have already booked for another extended stay in 2011 and it is so terrific that we consider it a "second home!" Sylvia does a wonderful job in decorating and stocking her units, and is quick to help if there are any problems once you are there, although we’ve had almost none. The brightly colored walls, the furniture, and all the paintings and artwork provide a warm, “island” atmosphere. The kitchen has plenty of bright Fiesta Ware table settings, pots and pans, knives, and all you need to serve both yourselves and guests – we were proud to invite others to come over for a meal…and to show off “our digs.” We especially appreciated the coffee grinder and the lighted magnifying make-up mirrors in both the master and guest bath rooms. Speaking of guests, this is an excellent floor plan for guests. The guest room has plenty of space, storage, and an ensuite bathroom. We had other couples with us for almost 4 weeks and never felt crowded or uncomfortable. Our guests loved the condo as much as we did. We must also say more about the floor plan, because it is so much nicer than most that you will find in Hawaii. First, the lanai is huge and it wraps around two sides of the condo, with plenty of space to both eat and lounge outside. The kitchen is larger than most condos and can easily accommodate 2 or even 3 people working there. The living area is also large, square, and two whole sides are a series of sliding glass doors going out to the lanai, so the views are expansive and there is lots of light. And since the condo is on the second floor, we live with the sliders open almost 24/7. Also unusual, is that the construction of this complex is concrete, so you don’t hear your neighbors on either side or above or below you. We are so pleased to have “discovered” Vista Waikoloa and Sylvia’s condos and recommend them whole heartedly. Vista Waikoloa is an immaculately maintained property – beautiful, mature trees and flowers, a great pool and spa area, a well-stocked workout room, and nice barbeques where the men seem to gather every night. The location is ideal – easy walking distance to both the Kings’ Shops and the Queens’ Marketplace, with the Hilton and Marriott right across the street and a very short walk to the beach at “A” Bay. We wish we had space to say more, but we don't!

Your condo has everything anyone could possibly need for a perfect vacation. We had romantic dinners at sunset on lanai and lazy breakfast at sunrise. Our newest discovery is the beach at Mauna Kea. Wow, where do I begin, this place is amazing. From the moment we walked in the door we fell in love with the condo. The decorations are perfect and we felt right at home. The area is beautiful with lots of fun things do do. (from our guest book) Our time in your beautiful home is rapidly drawing to a close. One of the things we will miss the most is morning coffee on the lanai with our dear friends. The sunrises have been spectacular. I love the way the morning sun peaks into the living room and brightens everything. What a wonderful way to start the day. We will all remember these days when we're back at work. Your whimsical decor has certainly put us in "island" mode. Golf was out of this world and the snorkeling did not disappoint. Oh, my, what a gorgeous home you have in Hawaii! We absolutely loved everything about it and really want to compliment you on your decorating choices. Wow--we had a great stay there. Everything was perfect! We did have a wonderful trip. We enjoyed the Kona Village Resort's luau, the town of Hawi and the Pololu Outlook; Hapuna, Mauna Kea Beach and A-Bay; the Fairwinds snorkel cruise and shopping in Kona. We used Hawaii Forest and Trails for the Merriman Farm Tour and the Kilauea Volcano tour-both great. We went to the Hilo side to see the farmers market, Akaka and rainbow Falls, and the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden. Our horseback riding trip to Waipio Valley was a highling with Na'alapa Stables. Restaurants swere great; Roys, Daniel Thiebaut, Merrimans, Cafe Pesto, Brown's Beach House, Pahu'lo (best) and others. The Kings and Queens shops got a lot our of our money as well as the coffee famers, mack nut farms, art galleries all over the pace for some koa items. It was an incredible island, so divergent with the landscape. We really loved our visit, and wish to thank you for providing such a great home base. Mahalo, 5/16/08
