This is a lovely apartment. It is very clean, well appointed and very conveniently located. There is a shopping center within two blocks and it is about 4 or 5 blocks to downtown Alameda which has numerous excellent (and inexpensive) restaurants. The bus stops nearly in front of the property and for $2.25 you can ride all the way to Berkeley or to a Bart station to go into SF. We've stayed here three different times and highly recommend it, and will be back next year.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

I would very much recommend this apartment. It is remodeled bright, had everything I needed in it, very comfortable. Loved that it had parking. Although I wish it had a washer dryer, the Laundromat is close by. I am a traveling nurse and have stayed in many short term rentals. I wish they were all like this! Thanks again I will contact you if work brings me back to Oakland again.

My husband and I stayed in this condo for 5 nights while visiting family in Alameda. We arrived late in the evening and there we no lights on. We fumbled aroung in the dark until we found the lock box. The furnishings are well appointed except there is no chest of drawers in the bedroom. We had to use our suit cases. There is a place for a washer/dryer but there isn't one. The bathroom was very nice but again, no place to put your toiletries. The condo was not clean. Everything was dusty and there was trash left in the kitchen from the sprevious tenant. I contacted the owner about all of the above by e-mail and received no response. Unfortunately we won't stay here on our next trip. There are several other better places to stay in Alameda.
Owner response:Unfortunately I do not know who this review is from. If a guest has ever had an issue with the condition of the apartment we always respond and do our best to accommodate them. The apartment is kept clean and comfortable for our guests. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
