We stayed at Mira Vista apartment owned by Tim from March 1 - 12, 2012. Everything about the apartment, property and people is wonderful. Wow! the selection of CD's in the apartment is outstanding. The apartment has lots of amenities and beach/pool supplies. We loved Mira Vista. The property is small but gorgeous and quiet which we liked a lot. We loved the daily walks on the beach, great pool, beautiful grounds and kindness of every owner on the property. The apartment is in perfect proxomity to groceries stores, shopping, the quaint town of San Jose and lots of eating establishments. Thanks Tim for inviting us into your "home away from home'. We enjoyed every minute of our time. We mingled with so many wonderful people while staying at your apartment. We had a lawn barbecue in support of a local charity. This was certainly a highlight of our stay at your place and speaks volumes about all the owners, like yourself, about the property and peoples' commitment to helping others. We highly recommend this apartment to all those reading these comments.

Those were GREAT pics of the fundraiser barbecue you sent, it looked like it was well attended and a lot of fun! The only suggestion I'd make is be careful who's tending bar. I know that guy pretty well, and I have no doubt he poured one for you, one for him; one for them and one for him...... Oh, and FYI, I've just added several more CDs of 50s tunes to the library.......I'm a total junkie!

It's been two years since my husband and I have been to the condo (we've rented it twice before over the years), and all we can say is wow! The remodeling work since we were there last is beautiful. Everything is so fresh and new, it HAS to be the nicest in the whole complex. We met two other renters (who are also from Canada) during the two weeks we were there and the difference between their condos and ours was like night and day...... I guess it pays to have some previous experience. Whenever we'd host the cocktail hour, it was almost like we were showing off. LOL We haven't had to rent a car yet, everything is so easy to get to, but my husband wants to explore the Hotel California in Todos Santos so I imagine we'll be doing that as an overnighter next year. What a fun place this part of Mexico is, we highly recommend it!

I stayed at Tim's beautiful condo in San Jose del Cabo for the second time from Jan. 1, 2012 - Feb. 16, 2012 and it was once again a spectacular visit. As always the condo is clean and comfortable and the view of the Sea of Cortez is beyond compare, you can spot whales and dolphins from the balcony and also have a great view of the weekly fireworks over the ocean! The grounds and pool are beautifully maintaned by Leon and the pool has lots of comfy loungers and is never crowded. The unit is well equipped with everything you need and there are usually some left over adult beverages in the fridge from the previous occupants. The Mega is a short bus ride away and has everything you need... be sure to stop by the deli section for fresh guacamole and salsa and get to the bakery early if you care to indulge in some of the excellent churros. The organic market is open on Saturdays (take the road behind the Tropicana) and is a must if you like fresh produce and homemade tamales, queso fresco, burritos and pretty much anything else you can imagine along with lots of craft vendors and artists. I've booked seven weeks at the same time next year and I left an espresso machine at the unit so that future guests can enjoy some high octane caffine. Can't wait for my 2013 visit.

Thanks so much for last year's IPod docking station and now you've left an espresso machine! I'm lovin' it, but methinks Starbucks' biz could suffer a bit moving forward. I stayed at Tim's condo from Dec. 30/2010 to March 1, 2011 and I didn't want to go home! The condo and the complex are very comfortable and relaxed, the view from the balcony is beyond description. I would sit having my coffee in the morning watching the beautiful sunrise and most days would catch sight of a whale out front, at times I saw several humpback whales breaching right out front, truly an amazing sight. There is a great little beach bar a short way down the beach called Zippers, great food and drinks with live music in the evenings. The grocery store (Mega) is a short bus ride away and the buses are very safe. I would usually do my shopping and take a cab back. The condo is totally kitted out with everything you need to cook meals there although going out is such fun! The pool is very nice and the grounds are beautifully maintained. All of the owner's and renter's that I met at the complex were great folks and I have already booked this unit for next year. Don't forget to check out Art Night in San Jose on Thursdays and also the Organic Market on Saturday mornings (just ask the taxi driver for Mercado Organico). Try out TEO restraunt which is toward the beach on the street going up to the square, great food and original drinks; they make an amazing Blueberry Basil Mojito... sounds strange but truly addictive! San Jose is a fabulous town, totally different from Cabo San Lucas. I can't wait to be back next year!

Thanks for sharing your beautiful spot with us Tim, my husband and I were amazed at how completely it was equipped and how beautifully you've decorated. There's no need for a traveller to bring anything but clothes and swimwear, because this condo has everything from beach towels & linens to a complete kitchen..... beautiful artwork too! (Keeping a blow dryer and an iron is a nice touch as well) The only bad thing I have to report is our week went by much too quickly, and we're not yet close enough to retirement to make this our permanent lifestyle. My husband and I heartily agree, this is the nicest vacation we've had in ages, and we recommend this condo heartily.

What can I say to adequately describe this condo? It was just heaven, leaving the winter behind us for 3 weeks of sun and fun. We were lucky enough to have a full moon during our stay, and watching it rise from the sea right in front of our balcony was like something out of a movie! We spent our evenings bar-b-queing on the balcony, sipping drinks on the beach, or just walking for miles at the water's edge. I can't imagine ever spending our winter vacations in Hawaii anymore........this is just so much more beautiful. We can't recommend this condo enough, it's sooo homey and charming.

We've spent a few weeks here at Tim's condo during the last three snowy winters up north and it just keeps getting better and better! We started out with a one week stay and next year we've already reserved a full month. The new TV in the bedroom is a very nice touch I must say. The grounds and the complex are always kept beautifully, and the people are very friendly; we almost feel as if it's our own little place because we're getting to know the regulars so well and always get hugs when we arrive! We can't recommend this unit enough, as it's beautifully appointed and in an absolutely perfect location!

It was terrific meeting you Tim, I hope we left enough beers for you in the refrigerator! You were absolutey right about Cabo Pulmo, even though our son (14 yrs old) had never scuba dived, they were very patient and we ended up having a family dive along the reef. We spent the week of Valentine's Day at the condo, watching the whales during the day and dancing at Havana's across the street at night. You have the nicest unit in the best complex on the whole beach. And the CDs you have.........oh my lord! You were right Tim, the pictures and the description don't do it justice. What a great time we had in this condo...it was exactly as described and pictured, with all the comforts of home, plus some! It's in a great location right on the beach, within easy walking distance of restaurants and other conveniences. We loved relaxing on the balcony, day and night! Everyone in the complex is friendly and it is beautifully maintained. A great spot which I would highly recommend.

We were referred to your condo by a friend of a friend, and boy are we happy to have found it! We had never been to Cabo before & didn't know what to expect; but we had no idea a place like this could even exist...... it's so tranquil and romantic! What could be better than to let the afternoons pass with a nice lunch at Zippers and watch the surfing in front. We are definately going to regular visitors from now on!

This place was absolutely PARADISE!!! It was clean, safe and so beautiful, it can't really be adequately described. We enjoyed ourselves so much, and it was so hard to leave! We must say, that the local people are very, very kind, helpful and polite, which made our stay even nicer. This location is just close enough to downtown Cabo for the nightlife and shopping, but it's far enough away that you're away from all the hustle and bustle of tourists. Can't say enough about our wonderful stay at this condo - it would surely make anyone's vacation memorable!

We arrived in the late afternoon to Mira Vista condos from 30 degree snowy Utah. It was like landing in heaven. The ocean, the pool, the beautiful landscape and the cozy porch where we could sit and hear the sound of the ocean ANYTIME OF DAY! It was the most wonderful place. Perfect size condo, too. The kitchen was great for saving money by cooking. We watched the sun stream through the window each morning. We will be going back even if we have to sell our first born. haha

Priced right and exactly how described. This is a fantastic place to vacation whether you want to totally relax by the beach all day or go into town to visit the nice shops and fine dining. Good restaurants a few steps down the beach or across the highway. I have stayed in this condo multiple times and it just keeps getting better.
