Casa Castro is a beautifully built new oceanfront custom home with all bedrooms facing the ocean. This home has an old world charm, but with modern conveniences. The continuous sound of rolling waves will put you to sleep and wake you up.
This house has a plethora of custom details. The kitchen is large and has new stainless steel appliances, solid wood cabinets, and granite countertops. You can do some baking in the built-in pizza oven above the fireplace. The kitchen opens up to a spacious family room, both overlooking the majestic Pacific. The details flow throughout this entire house. The master bedroom has an inlaid talavera mural from Puebla a king size bed. This bed sits on an inlaid bamboo floor that is surrounded by yellow cantera. The master shower is made from yellow travertine with red glass tile. The other two bedrooms have queen beds;along with an alcove with a bunk bed.
Importing various products from southern Mexico: red and yellow travertine; white, orange, brown, and yellow cantera(a volcanic stone used in architecture); hand-painted tiles from Puebla; glass tile from Cuernavaca, distressed furniture and wood from Puebla. Rooftop balcony is surrounded with glass railing.
The secluded gate guarded community of Puerta Del Mar has clubhouse has a pool, exercise room with equipment, tennis and a basketball courts.
