Summer fun awaits you at the Pinecone, our spacious and newly renovated condo at Tamarron, 18 miles north of Durango in the San Juan National Forest. Zip down the alpine slide at the ski area or catch the famous Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Train at nearby Rockwood Station. Haviland Lake and Rapp Corral horse stables are right up the road, and Trimble Hot Springs is just 10 minutes away.
This open and bright 1500 sq ft condo has two levels. Downstairs is a private queen bedroom with an attached bathroom, the living room, dining area and full kitchen. Upstairs is a large loft with two queen beds, a bathroom and walk-in closet. The loft closes off with sound insulated folding doors for privacy at night.There are also two air mattresses for extra guests, and a TV/DVD on each level.
The rustic lodge-style furnishings are brand new, and all beds have memory foam toppers for extra comfort. Our unit has extra south facing windows for lots of natural light and 20 foot high ceilings, and we do not have any highway noise like some units. The private deck is surrounded by pine trees with views of the mountains and a small pond.
Your stay includes use of the heated indoor/outdoor pool, jacuzzi's, fitness center, sauna and spa services in the main lodge, which is a 3 minute walk from our unit.
Enjoy fine dining at Hamilton's Chop House and breakfast/lunch at the Cliffside Deli. There are so many things to do in Durango! Tubing or rafting down the Animas River, the recreation center & water park, hiking, biking, horseback riding, Jeep adventures, art galleries and many fabulous restaurants. Just pack your toothbrush and come have fun!
*Tamarron is surrounded by the private Glacier Club golf course, but we are not members. If you wish to golf there is a nice course 10 minutes towards town at Dalton Ranch. |
