Located in a quiet residential area, this two-story updated 1925 California Craftsman style home is cozy and comfortable, a perfect spot for you to getaway, recuperate or enjoy a family vacation. It has 3 bedrooms each with new queen size plush beds and a full size futon couch in the living room, so it can sleep 6+ people comfortably.
Tastefully furnished with mission style furniture and antiques, the upstairs master suite features a romantic gas fireplace, jacuzzi, and private balcony. The country kitchen comes with a dishwasher and gas range with dishes, glasses, and cooking utensils, coffee maker, microwave and all you need to prepare meals, if you don't feel like going out to one of the many excellent restaurants downtown.
There is a private outdoor hot tub on the deck, a stone patio with BBQ, and a large yard where you can enjoy seasonal fruit. Bike or take the nearby public transit into town or to the beach. This is an ideal vacation or short term rental.

We've stayed twice at this lovely home, and had a great time. Comfortable craftsman 2-story, with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. Plus a great yards in the front and back, with room for all to enjoy. Convenient grocery and eateries a few blocks away, with State Street only a nice 1+ mile walk.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children.

The Micheltorena house is beautiful! So much light from all those windows. My mother-in-law loved the lace curtains. The furnishings and the color palette are beautiful. The garden is lovely, all those fruit trees, persimmon, fig, peach, apricot, plum, citrus and even cherimoya! We had a wonderful time, it was hard to leave. The floral duvets and bedding reminded us of our favorite inn in Big Sur. We came here for our son's wedding at Elings Park. Everything was perfect. I was so relaxed once my son's wedding was over, I was ready to stay. The morning light in the upstairs master bedroom was so beautiful and it was a wonderful place to watch the sunrise. Can't wait to come back.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at your vacation home. The house is just adorable, well appointed and very comfortable. I love the look of nicely maintained older craftsman houses. Loved the location - close to downtown Santa Barbara, the Mesa and important for us my Dad's ( whose 90th birthday we were there to celebrate ) home. We would be happy to return on our next trip to Santa Barbara. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Santa Barbara. The accommodations were outstanding. We were not aware of "Fiesta" or that it was on this particular weekend, but we enjoyed that too. Now that we have family in the Santa Barbara area, I am sure that we will be returning and would love to stay at your property in the future. This lovely home was the perfect setting for our celebration of a UCSB graduate. It served as "home base" for a larger group of family members who joined us for meals and relaxing times in the spacious yard. We had a little doggie with us who thought the outdoor space was divine! The owners have made thoughtful choices about furnishings and kitchen ware etc. so we found everything we needed. Owners were responsive and helpful when we made the inquiry and reservation. Prompt response to questions and return of security deposit. Very clean and lovely decorations in keeping with the Craftsman style of the home. Very centrally located. Off street parking a bonus. We will definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to others in a heart beat.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

My family and I had a lovely time staying in your home in honor of my son's graduation from UCSB. We had a small brunch after the ceremony and all of the guests marveled at the coziness, yet roominess of the house. My sister and I especially loved the upstairs suite. We enjoyed our morning coffee from the veranda and relaxed in the large bathtub, being massaged by the jets. We especially appreciated having some of the items available in the kitchen. My college girlfriends from all over the country and I stayed at this wonderful, charming house. The kitchen was beautiful, the beds very comfortable, and the hot tub big enough to fit the 7 of us. My girlfriends from college and I had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. It was perfect for our reunion.
