  • We took a long weekend at the "Snapper Shack" and had a great time. The home was clean and it felt like our own vacation home. The dock and water access are great. The home is spacious and has all the amenities that we needed. I will definitely stay again soon.

  • I was down there for the 2008 lobster mini season with my family and had a great time. The kids had fun fishing from the dock. My smallest son caught his first fish from the dock and my large son caught his first lobster. The place is extremely comfortable. I felt like it was a home away from home without all the stress and distractions. The owners were pleasant and easy to communicate with. I will definitely be looking forward to another stay in the near future.

  • We had a lovely weekend. The house is very comfortable - six adults! My son and son-in-law loved fishing off the dock. Perfect for the boat. Centrally located and close enough to Miami for a quick weekend get away. Marilou and Rick are very gracious and pleasant to deal with. Thanks for everything.

  • The Snapper Shack was very comfortable for our family of 4. It was clean and as a mom I loved all the little things of convenience available there that we would not have had if we stayed at a hotel. My husband loved the dock, there is a place to clean your fish and a great water hose to rinse down your boat. We enjoyed the little canal ride out to the ocean, alot to see and enjoy. I loved the fact that there was enough space on the property to park the trailer. My boys loved the back area, they fished in the canal and spent alot of time under the gazebo that lights up at night. Best of all, the owners Marilou and Rick were very nice and pleasant to speak with. It was a great vacation for our family, my sons wanted to go back once we got home.

  • The Snapper Shack was a very nice oasis on our journey to southern Florida. It had great amenities - we so enjoyed dinner in the huge screened in porch and the two bathrooms were a huge plus, as well. I would definitely stay there again. It was clean and inviting.

  • We had a great time in the snapper shack, the back screened in porch was great for sitting and relaxing while reading and snoozing.
