Our newly remodeled condo is located in the prestigious Palm Valley County Club on the Championship course featuring both mountain and golf course views. Our condo is a non-smoking unit. Watch the sunset behind the mountains from the fairway patio or enjoy your morning coffee in the sunny courtyard.
Both bedrooms have King size beds with televisions, and their own full bathrooms. The master bath has an over-sized tub and shower. Living room has a DVD player with a stereo system for your enjoyment.The unit is also equipped with WiFi. The kitchen has been completely updated with new stainless appliances and granite counters and is fully stocked with all cooking amenities, utensils and cookware. The new dining room table seats 6-8. Our outdoor furniture includes a table that seats 6.
This property is situated near the entrance of Palm Valley Country Club. The community pool and Jacuzzi are just two doors down, and rarely used. The clubhouse has two restaurants and bar open to the public. Palm Desert Golf Course (and several other championship courses) are located within a few miles of the condo.
We maintain a spa membership within Palm Valley country Club which will allow our guest access to the spa facilities located within easy walking distance of the condo.

This condo was perfect for grandparents, two adult sons, daughter-in-law and granddaughter (6 years old) to meet for a spring break holiday. The accommodation was comfortable, well equipped, well laid out for both privacy and family time. The price was very reasonable and the owners so helpful and pleasant to deal with. The kitchen cupboards had a nice assortment of spices, olive oil, vinegar, etc. so do check out the cupboards before grocery shopping. We had no problem using the grill on the front patio. There is deep soaker tub with shower in one bathroom and a convenient walk-in shower in the other for those with less flexibility! There are lots of maps and brochures in the condo and driving in the area was pretty easy. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the patio facing the golf course at all times of the day - good shade in the heat, lush view and great entertainment watching the workers and golfers! Granddaughter loved rolling down the hill after the golfers finished for the day. The sunshine was so good for our souls but required lots of sunscreen for these snowbirds. It did get very windy for a few days making it a bit cold and dusty to sit outside but that may have been unusual. We went swimming at least once every day. The pool around the corner was so convenient and warm. We virtually had it all to ourselves. Granddaughter liked the salt water pool at the clubhouse because the water didn't sting her eyes. We took our own beach towels but there were lots available in the condo so don't bother. So much to do in the area that everyone found something they enjoyed and hardly had time to relax. We took in the art museum and street festival in Palm Springs, living desert zoo and date farm in Palm Desert, Joshua Tree Park and Salton Sea, aerial tram, hiking in the canyons, biking, picking grapefruit. We couldn't figure out how to make the big screen TV work until our tech savvy son showed up, but there are so many TVs that it didn't matter and everyone could watch their own program. While the owners normally only rent the condo for a month or more, they were very generous in allowing us to use it for just one week at a reduced price. All in all, this condo made for a fabulous holiday for our scattered three generation family to get together and escape the snowy east coast and rainy pacific northwest for a short break.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

This was our third time at this condo and each time we have spent a month there. It's in an upscale resort and central location to shopping, restaurants, golf courses, etc. The unit is on the green of the 6th hole Championship Course and it's very entertaining to sit on the patio and watch the foursomes come by. As a non-member of the course you are able to play it on Mondays in a shotgun format. It's a beautiful course! This is a very comfy unit and has everything you could possibly want. Over the last 3 years, the owners have continued to update it and there is always something new that has been added. The beds are comfortable which is important. Even more important, the place is spotless. We love the free long distance phone calls. I think I talked to my family more while I was there than when I'm at home. We had a problem with the a/c on the first day and within an hour the owners had their caretaker come around and rectify the problem. Thank you so much Katrina and Jim for allowing us to use your vacation home. We look forward to next November. About the owner: Jim and I are both Accountants so we can not enjoy our property until after the tax season leaving it available to rent January through the end of April. We are committed to enjoying this property more once we retire so keeping it in very good shape is a priority to us, if you find any shortfalls please let us know. We travel to our condo with our 3 children during May and December, the kids love the pools so close and the Olympic size pool at the club house is a favorite for our daughter who swims regularly. We enjoy being able to take day trips to San Diego and Los Angeles while still being able to return to our quiet oasis at night. We believe we have the best view on the golf course as you look out past the greens and fairways to the beautiful mountains beyond. We have a lovely bush right beside our fairway patio so even at the hottest part of the day you can seek shade or sun right on your own private deck. This condo is our own little piece of heaven.
