WELCOME TO THE SUNKEN CORK
This newly remodeled cottage is situated right on the water halfway up the west side of Keuka Lake overlooking the tip of the bluff making it approximately 8 miles from either Hammondsport or Branchport.
The whole cottage provides for a calm and restful atmosphere as it is tastefully decorated with soothing colors and decor. Mainfloor is at lake level with a roomy kitchen, dining area and bath. The kitchen sports an island with snack bar and stools. The dining area faces the lake, and has a beautiful large table and china cabinet. The bathroom with shower has been recently renovated top to bottom and has both interior and exterior access.
Upstairs you'll remember this house for its Florida Room with its panoramic views. Sunrises make this room sparkle, while in the evening its views will truly demonstrate why Keuka Lake sunsets are so famous. The Florida is stocked with a queen sleeper sofa, loveseat, chair, ottoman, and DVD/VCR. Bedroom #1 has one Queen bed. Bedroom #2 has two Double beds.
Step outside onto the porch, sit back in the Adirondacks with a cool drink, and enjoy the sound of the waves stroking the shore. There's also a picnic table and rocker. Later, take a swim in Keuka Lake, where there is a gradual drop-off.
As typical for the area there are many stairs from the parking to the cottage.
