Great family getaway in the mountains, nestled into the hillside with a cathedral type view of Guye Peak and the Cascades. Family constructed home offers a place to rest, relax, be with family and friends, and enjoy a break from the business of day to day life.
Winter: All the mountain activities are close and easy to get to from our house. You can sled, snowboard, snowshoe, ski, cross country ski, inner tube, hike or just take a quiet walk along the Ironhorse Trail. The house accommodates two families nicely, with a fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, 3 bathrooms, downstairs utility room for hanging wet and bulky gear, spacious living room for reading or chatting, dining room table that seats 10 for games and meals, and an upstairs that sleeps 6-8 (while the living room can sleep 2) .
Roads outside of house are maintained through the winter and driveway leading up to garage is maintained on a weekly basis.
Summer: Great getaway from the city. Only 1 hour away. Lakes and hiking trails close by. Lots of opportunity to mountain bike and explore.
Forest Service road is open so opportunities to explore by sturdy car as well. House is cool during the day and evening. Great place to star gaze.
Come have some fun in the snow!!

This property is amazing!! The view of the mountains from the window-lined living area is breath-taking. The house is extremely spacious with two large bedrooms and a loft. There are plenty of couches in the living room for extra sleeping. The best (and least crowded) ski area is across the street..you can walk over and rent your equipment. They also have a small cafe and bar at the ski lodge. Sledding is an easy walk away, too! We (family with 4 adults and 2 kids) spent a wonderful winter weekend here and cannot recommend it enough. EVERYTHING you could need is here! Bring your food and enjoy!!!
