This cozy one bedroom cottage with walk-in closet features an eat-in kitchen that overlooks 1/2 acre lot with mature mango and oak trees. There is plenty of room to park an RV or boat. It has a small living room with a sun porch. This is an "Old Florida" cottage with wood floors and a tin roof. This 636 square foot cottage has new central air and heat. There is also a detached garage. It's located close to beaches and boating. Just 3 miles away you will find Indian River Park and Francis Langford Park. You will be amazed at the gorgeous view of the river just 600 feet from your front door at the end of the block. In fact, if you would like to have a canoe to put in the water, we can arrange that.
Let me tell you a little bit about Jensen Beach. This quaint beach town reminds you of how Florida used to be. We have wonderful restaurants, art galleries, boutiques, day spas, and marinas offering fishing and snorkeling excursions. Our little town really rocks on Thursday nights when Jammin In Jensen takes place. Street musicians, crafters, food vendors and artists line the streets, and we all enjoy the festivities and the wonderful ocean breezes. This fun event is just one of our local favorites. Five star restaurants as well as seafood "hole in the wall" cafes are the norm here. You can stroll through our town with perfect ease, as it is safe and just a short walk from our home. Our Jensen Beach Park is the best beach in Florida. We offer white sand beaches and gorgeous turquoise water. There's a concession stand where you can buy breakfast, lunch or just a snack. The beaches are all open to the public with lots of parking just steps to the beach. People travel from all over the state to visit our beach. Picnic areas, fishing piers as well as a beach concession for breakfast and lunch make this a perfect day trip.
Everything you will need to cook is provided. Coffee maker and microwave are also provided. We can also arrange for a portable crib should you want to bring the baby. There is NO washer and dryer in this cottage but there is a laundromat in Jensen Beach that offers a drop off service.
