Sapphire Beach is located on the prestigious East End of St. Thomas. The beachfront (on the beach) corner condo features stunning views of the ocean and St. John Island.
You have a fully equipped kitchen, TV, VCR & DVD (with movies), music, and board games, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.
Snorkel on Sapphire Beach and swim with the turtles, sting rays and the colorful Caribbean fish. Take a walk on the white sandy beach, swim in the warm turquoise Caribbean waters and/or enjoy the beautiful pool located on the beach.
We just remodeled the bathroom...everything new, sinks, walk-in shower with shower seat, new tile floors and a taller toliet for more comfort.
There is a new laundry facitity now.
In Red Hook Harbor (1/2 mile from condo) is the ferry/car ferry to go over to St. John for the day (15 min ride). On St. John explore the National Park and snorkel on the famous Trunk Bay Beach.

The Caribbean Jewel: The beachfront corner condo has the most fabulous ocean view from the balcony and offers more privacy. At night listen to the sound of the ocean waves making you relax. Sit out on the balcony and enjoy the waves or take a walk on the beach...........it is wonderful!

Snorkeling on Sapphire Beach: One of the reasons we purchased a condo on Sapphire Beach was because of the snorkeling. We have seen so many different kinds of sea life. We have seen turtles swim by us. I tried to swim with one as he was traveling out to sea and when I looked back and saw how far I was from the shore line I had to say good-bye.......'see you next time'. There are many colorful Caribbean fish and beautiful forms of coral.
When you stay with us you will have access to FREE snorkel gear, beach chairs and floats.
Weddings at Sapphire Beach: Many weddings have been performed on Sapphire Beach. Many of our guests have shared wedding pictures with us. The romance captured in these photos are amazing. There are many wedding planners and photographers on the island. Caribbean music playing makes you feel you are in such a special place.

Hey i just wanted to thank you for the wonderful place to stay at St. Thomas! we had so much fun. Didn't do a whole lot but thats what we wanted. St. John for a day was definetly worth it. Kinda wary booking something online without seeing it in person but it was all we could ask for. Thanks again!Owner response: We are so happy you enjoyed yourself. This is the most beautiful piece of God's landscape! Everyone (the locals) was very nice! We snorkeled in the back yard. Enjoyed the afternoon lunch at the Banana Cabana. The Mahi Mahi was amazing and Jolene the kindest lady. Mostly enjoyed the peace, rest, and sun bathing and the bluest waters. The water was perfect in the ocean. During our stay we went parasailing. Very peaceful up there. In the Marina you catch the boat, but call ahead. We had a fantastic stay and the condo is very nice. Snorkeling on Sapphire was more than expected. We saw and swam beside turtles, rays and plenty of colorful fish and a school of squid. We saw a shark even. Took a day trip to Tortola and it was breathtaking. Dolphin Discovery was a lot of fun and quite the adventure. Take your passport. We ate a wonderful lunch at Cane Bay. Since there wasn't any ships in we had our own personal taxi - awesome day trip! Our family decided on a day of scuba diving and loved it so much we went twice. Our honeymoon was better than we ever could have imagined. The condo was stocked with everything we needed plus great views. Our goal on our trip was to see as much as possible and I think we succeeded! Highlights of our trip: Rent a car!!!! It allowed us to venture the island at our own pace without high price taxis. Even took the car barge to St. John. New Horizon - day sail trip. This was the best day of the whole week. Took us to two snorkeling spots, open bar, delicious breakfast and lunch and the crew was fantastic! This is a must. Only $95/per person from 10 AM to 4 PM.....located at Sapphire Marina. Zip Line - at Tree Limin Extreme......$100 per person - coupons @ Budget Rental. Best views of island and Megans Bay. Snorkeling - we talked to many locals for info on best snorkeling. We saw the most at Hull Bay - a lot of string rays, Linquist Beach (near condo) is a turtle nesting ground. Duffy's Love Shack - Wednesday Night is ladies night......they drink free Best View of sunset - St. Petersburg Point is the coolest spot on the island..... We had a great time. Best part of the condo is the location - the ocean is foot steps away. We took the car barge to St. John and enjoyed the fabulous views. We enjoyed the day snorkeling at Megans Bay. We enjoyed the jet skis at the marina.....they were really fun. We enjoyed out trip so much! The condo is amazing and perfect. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We celebrated a birthday and out 1 year anniversary. We definitely would recommend Coki Beach and Megans Bay, and you must go to St. John. Take the car barge if you can and you will be able to see more of the island. Any of the bays there are just as beautiful as the next. Take the small hike to "Peace Hill".....it is worth it. Also, every Monday you can take a catamaran called "Dancing Dolphin" for a sunset cruise to Water Island where the locals watch a movie on the island - $55 pp unlimited booze. If you like tacos, you gotta get one from the small taco stand, in Red Hook, called "Taco Hell". We will have so many wonderful memories here and will also be counting the days til we can return. Thank you for everything. Your communication and eagerness to answer all my questions made it so easy and enjoyable. I couldn't have picked a better place. The place was so clean and nice. Gail & Duane, Thank you for sharng this special place! If you are looking to stay on the beach in St. Thomas, book this condo! Best beach on the island with the best location and view at the complex. The beach can get crowded when the cruise ships are in. On those days walk to the beach at Smith Park, there will be very few people there and it is just as nice. We stayed for one week and really enjoyed the condo. Beach front, the snorkeling was fantastic, people were friendly and wonderful food. The condo was spotless and very comfortable. Thank you so much for sharing your special piece of paradise.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

About the owner: The picture above was taken at Megans Bay on a hot sunny day! Some of the kids were with us and we had a great time. Duane and I live in Santa Barbara, California. We have 3 grown children and 3 grand kids. Rick married to Rosy with Kevin age 7 yrs have been to the condo a few times. Kevin loves to snorkel. Justen married to Dennis with Jade age 21 yrs and Taylor age 6 yrs. Justen and Dennis have been to the condo once and planning to go again with Taylor. Jade has been to the condo a few times. And, Traci who has 2 of the cutest little dogs, Stells and Fiona. Traci has been to the condo a few times. We are a close family and enjoy spending time together. Duane works for the County of Santa Barbara and I have retired. I volunteer for the 'Dream Foundation', I have a small shop with repurposed, shabby chic, vintage, etc items and enjoy spending time with family.
Why the Owner Chose Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina:
We purchased the condo in 2007 after we had vacationed for the first time on Sapphire Beach. We had been looking for a vacation rental, but had no idea that we would fall in love with Sapphire Beach. Because we live on the West Coast it seemed logical to maybe buy in Hawaii. We had been to Hawaii several times and really liked it, but to purchase on the Hawaiian Islands is very very expensive with too many restrictions on owning property, if you do not live on the island. So we just waited. Two years later when we were on Sapphire Beach ......that was it. Within 2.5 months we purchased the condo and have been so thankful. There is no place anywhere you can say 'we snorkel in our backyard'. Dream come true!!

We enjoy the condo so much because we do not have to pack much. The weather is perfect. The condo is fully equipped. We can walk on the beach anytime, we can snorkel anytime, we can sit on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful view while having a glass of wine.
We love all the things the island offers and how slow the island feels. We all need to slow down some and relax.
