Located in Southold, Long Island, with water views of Long Island Sound and just a short walk to a lovely sandy beach w/life guard. Enjoy long walks on the uncrowded beach, fish, sunbath, bike, kyack, birdwatch, and enjoy the good life. Wonderful wineries and farm stands are just minutes away w/great locally grown and produced products.
About 2 hours from NYC on the North Fork, Greenport and Shelter Island Ferry about 8 miles away where some of the best restaurants are located. LI Railroad has daily service to Southold, there is also a bus every couple of hours that serves NYC.
Our house is a traditional cedar shingles two story beach house. We have three bedrooms and 3 full baths plus an outside shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach. Large kitchen, fully equipped, with center island work area, gas cook stove. There are 3 queen-size beds, one double bed. There is one TV w/DVD player. There is parking for 2-3 cars. We have three decks, upper and lower plus a front deck. The upper deck has a view of the Long Island Sound forever w/glorious sunsets. There are ceiling fans to keep you cool on those warm summer nights. There is generally a good breeze here. Great pet friendly and family area.
