Our historic 1850's Farmhouse is nestled on 38 acres in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania at Indian Lake. Formerly run as a Bed and Breakfast, our rustic country home is the perfect place to sit back, relax, and enjoy a getaway in the country.
There are four bedrooms, a bunk room, and three full baths, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and two living rooms - one with fireplace, one with pull-out couch. Almost 1900 square feet will allow your group all the space they'll need to enjoy a great time together. (Sleeps 10-12)
Activities abound throughout all four seasons of the year. Access to the beautiful private Indian Lake is just a couple of miles from us, nearby golf courses, three ski resorts, ATV Park -one of the largest on the East Coast, historical sites - including the United 93 Memorial (five miles), hiking, mountain biking, and much more.
The lake is fantastic and we highly recommend getting out on it! In the warmer months, boat rentals are available through the Indian Lake Marina. For golfers, Northwinds Golf Course is right next to us. Indian Lake Golf Club is also within a few minutes - a private course . . . and the first one ever designed by Arnold Palmer (contact the course directly for availability).
In winter, why commit to one resort? Try out 3 different ski resorts within 35 miles: Seven Springs, Hidden Valley, and Blue Knob. Also enjoy sledding, x-country skiing, and more!
Come check out why you'll love vacationing in the Laurel Highlands at Indian Lake. There's something for everyone to enjoy!!!

I spent a week here in mid October 2012 and enjoyed it very much. The house was as advertised, has a lot of ambience, and is in a very nice setting - walking distance to the lake. Melissa and Joshua were very friendly and accommodating of my constantly changing plans, before, during, and after my stay - I couldn't have asked for more flexible and accommodating owners. If and when I visit my friend in this area again, I would stay here in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.

The farmhouse was the perfect location for friends from college to gather. We ate most of our meals outside on the picnic table, walked the trail on the property and had camp fires at the fire pit. The house had plenty of room and we all had our theories as to what part of the house had been build first and what parts were added on, so the house itself, provided entertainment. It was the perfect getaway for catching up with old friends. The owners were very accommodating.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway.

We had such a fun and relaxing time at Huckleberry Acres. We walked the trail around the property several times, went to Indian Lake as well as Shawnee Lake and the Flight 93 memorial. Our dogs loved it, too! The owners were very easy to work with, and very helpful. Lots of room in the house.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.
