This lovely country home is located in a small picturesque pueblo called Tiquipaya, known for its flower production. It is located 20 minutes from the center of Bolivia’s fourth largest city, Cochabamba. Tiquipaya still maintains the small town activities that characterize rural Bolivian life. Complete with bustling market days to rural farm activity, Tiquipaya is a fascinating and quiet retreat for a family or group. Nearby Cochabamba offers all the amenities of a small bustling city. It is most well-known for its excellent food and the largest market place in South America.
The house has been recently refurbished. It is a three bedroom house with two full bathrooms and a fully equipped modern kitchen, living room, dining room, patio with barbecue, ample gardens and space for numerous cars or play areas.
The house offers a matrimonial suite equipped with a double bed with a full bathroom, and a generous wardrobe.
The second and third bedrooms are two conjoined rooms, one room equipped with two twin/single beds and the second room offers a double loft bed. This room has ample wardrobe space and a multi-use area with table and chairs. A full bathroom is adjacent to this room.
The living room, the kitchen and the dining space are located in a comfortable open main area. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with tableware and cooking utensils, the room overlooks the Andes mountain range. The living room is cozy and contains a stereo and a chimney. Off the living room is a multi-use quarter which can be used as a dining room, office or additional sleeping area as it also has a king-size bed. The house can accommodate up to twelve people comfortably. This is a lovely house for a family retreat or multi-family get together.
