Beautiful luxurious, single-family home, 3,000 square feet, built in 1992. There is a deep water dock with electrical hook-up, water, fish cleaning table, and rod holders. From the dock, it is only minutes away to the Atlantic Ocean or Florida Bay. The rental includes private sandy beach privileges (Inch Beach) and Cabana Club membership which features a pool, sandy beach, bar, food, and entertainment. And, you can view spectacular sunsets at Sunset Park. All are within walking distance.
The house is located in the exclusive Coury addition of Key Colony Beach. The first floor consists of a large open room with living area, dining area (with formal dining table), kitchen (with center island and eating counter), powder room, and a very large office/laundry room. The kitchen has all the cooking items necessary to satisfy the needs of a gourmet chef. High ceilings, arched entryways, marble floors, window doors, large picture windows, and Corian countertops accentuate the rooms. Adjacent to the living and dining room is a large covered porch with three ceiling fans, dining table (seats 4), separate seating area (seats 2), and bait freezer. There is also a picnic table with umbrella by the backyard BBQ.
The second floor consists of a large master suite (queen bed) with an attached study. The bedroom has a covered porch with seating. The study has an uncovered porch for viewing. The large marble bathroom has a Jacuzzi, large stall shower, and separate commode area. There are two additional guest bedrooms that share a bathroom. One room has a queen bed and the other has twins. All the rooms are beautifully decorated and each room in the house has its own TV (32-inch flat panel TV in twin guest room).

Why the Owner Chose Key Colony Beach
The first time I drove over the Vaca Cut bridge in Marathon I watched a young man catching tarpon. He offered me to join him and I immediately hooked onto a tarpon. It was quite a thrill. The next day I purchased a lot on Key Colony Beach. I chose Key Colony because it has access to both the ocean and FL Bay (via the Vaca Cut Bridge)without having to run far. It is a wonderful peaceful community with recreation, parks and a jogging path. When we moved to a larger home in 1994 we stayed on Key Colony.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The house is at 1230 Coury Drive (west side of Key Colony). Sunset Park is a short walk across the street. The beautiful sandy private beach (Inch Beach), of which we belong, is also a short walk from the house. The Cabana Club is on the East side of Key Colony and is approximately a 10-15 minute walk.

When I discovered the Florida Keys in the 1970s I immediately fell in love with the idea of fishing yearround in the beautiful blue waters of the FL Keys. As an avid fisherman, living in NY, I could not get enough time on the water so I moved to south FL and built a home on Key Colony Beach. My wife is from Miami and grew up on the water so the Keys are perfect for both of us. We enjoy snorkeling, lobstering, fishing, and cruising.

Recently the wk of 12/12/11 myself and two friends stayed at this home to celebrate my 60th birthday. We can not say enough good things regarding the home-the conditions and our enjoyable visit there for a week. We did not want for one thing the home didn't offer already. We all had been to some very nice places in travels but this one went to the top of the list for us all and do hope to return someday. The owners were more than helpful about the area and local things of interest , we had never been to this area before. But this is definitely an EXCELLENT place to stay.!! Hope to return soon.

This vacation rental is top notch! If luxury, cleanliness, and close proximity to nice beaches, swimming, and par 3 golf are important to you, this is the place to stay. Our three teenagers had plenty of room to spread out, read, play games, take walks, and swim. The back porch is private, spacious and a relaxing place to eat dinner or read. The owners have kept this home very well-maintained and it is comfortable and beautiful. The kitchen has every appliance and tool you will need to fix your fabulous seafood catch of the day. This was our third visit to Key Colony Beach and this is by far our favorite rental. The owners are most gracious and welcoming and are helpful in answering any questions you may have about the area or the home. This rental will not disappoint!

Beautiful home, beautiful location and wonderful owners made for a wonderfully relaxing week in the Keys! Upon our arrival the owner called to check in to make sure everything was fine. The home and neighbourhood exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed Sunset Beach, the club and the fishing. We even managed to get in a road race at Sombrero Beach before we left. We had a fabulous stay in this house in Mid February and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a base to explore the Keys. It lacked no amenities, and was very easy to relax in, either outside on the porch or on the couch with a good book or movie. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the Keys.

We had an absolutely wonderful week at this house. The home is bright, open, with lots of windows. Kitchen was awesome with all amenities. Napping on the back porch was favorite of all. We especially enjoyed the easy, fast access by boat to either bay or ocean. Beach and pool access were available, but only visited briefly as we enjoyed hanging out at the house and dock. Thanks for a wonderful, relaxing week!

WOW! What an amazing house! This was our second trip to Key Colony Beach, and this house really made it a memorable trip- definitely a step up from our previous rental. There were 5 in our party, from two families, but we had room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen had absolutely everything I looked for. The dock had plenty of room, and made it very easy to get on and off the boat. The owners were very accomodating and helpful. We'll be back!!
