In less than 7 days notice, we rented this condo from Mrs. Dorothy and we were ever so pleased. Having had one bad experience with owner rentals, I am always terrified something will go wrong somewhere but not here! The condo is bigger than the pictures let on and the bedrooms have updated (gorgeous) bedding. Master bedroom bed is VERY cozy! The biggest thing I was so happy about when we walked in was seeing that ALL plugs were covered with plug covers so my 18 month old daughter was protected. I don't know if this is standard or not, but no one we have ever rented from has had this done. I am a professional maid and the cleaning that is being done here is pretty good, unlike most other places we have stayed. This is our first time in this complex and first time renting from Mrs. Dorothy. She was extremely personable and very kind to work with! Will definitely rent again. Don't question your decision to rent here, just do it!! Thank you so much!

This was a great place to stay. Owners were very nice and accommodating. Enjoyed the hot tub, the indoor pool, and connected outside heated pool. Great location and a nice condo and balcony.

This was my first time renting a condo, but the owner was the best. Like other reviewers have stated the owner is very accomadating. During our stay we had a problem with the washer, but with one call she had someone out to fix it the very next day. I will definitely rent from her again and tell anyone planning a trip to Orange Beach to rent from her as well.

Great Place to Stay!

We spent the week of July 16-23rd at this wonderful condo. It had everything to make us comfortable. All we had to provide was the food. It is centrally located, close to everything in Gulf Shores, and all the fishing and boating in Orange Beach. The beds were the most comfortable that I have ever slept on in a rental. The view from the balcony was adequate, being that this condo is not Gulf Front, but Gulf View. The patio furniture was nice and comfy. The owner was very nice and accomadating. The price was very fair, and I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks.

We had such a good time. Everything was very clean and convenient. Being right on the beach made it so easy with children to go to the beach. It was nice being able to go back and forth without driving! I would recommend this rental to anyone and the owner was so accomodating. I thought the rate was very fair.

This was my first time actually renting a condo for a family vacation and I have to say that this is how we will do it from now on. The condo was clean and the kitchen stocked with everything you would need if you decide to stay in for an evening and cook. The beach was literally a few steps away once off of the elevator so not at all an inconvenience if you forgot something and needed to go back to the room. My 14 year old son had a blast just playing in the ocean and searching for interesting finds in the water. We all enjoyed grabbing our flashlights and trying to catch the sand crabs at night. I also recommend 'Waterville USA' if you like waterparks. The slides are amazing! We definately will be back.

This condo is wonderful, our family of 4 absolutely loved this place! It offers a view of the beach, it is very comfortable, and the distance to the beach is so convenient. It is close to everything and well worth the price. Personally, I think private little condo complexes such as this are the way to go. The grounds are well kept, the pool was clean and the parking was covered. The proprietor was a delight to work with and ensured a perfectly smooth transaction. An altogether enjoyable experience.

What a wonderful condo and appartment block. The indoor/outdoor pool was AMAZING. The appartment was terrific and had everything you need for a vacation. The view from the balcony is exactly what you see on the photos with easy access to the beach. Orange Beach (it was our first visit) has everything and more. We WILL be back.

The condo met our expectation. We stayed for 3 days during our spring break vacation. The condo had everything as described by the website. The only thing missing was a wireless connection for the laptop and a parking sticker. Luckily the building management gave us a friendly reminder on the second day, but we left on the third day. My family (wife and two sons, 8 and 17) enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming down to Orange Beach, AL in the near future.

First, the owner was a dream to work with, very accomodating. We so enjoyed this condo! We have stayed at the Caribe, at Four Seasons and others, and this condo unit was exactly what we were looking for: very clean, adorably "beach" decorated, furnished with everything you need, easy access and ample (and close) parking. The kids LOVED the indoor pool that swims thru to the outside. (Unlike other indoor pools, this one has enough room for adults to sit around and visit.)Thank you for a great long weekend. We will be back!

Fall Break

My husband and I recently stayed in this condo during our Fall Break 10/15-10/18 and I think this was the best time in the 53 years I have been coming that I have experienced. It was almost like having the beach and the pool to myself without any Sweating. I will come again this time of the year. A lot has been said about the oil spill but the oil has not impacted the beaches of Orange Beach that I can tell. The workers have worked early mornings and kept the tar balls cleaned up. The water is back to it's translucent greens and blues. The seagulls and dolphins are back playing and enjoying themselves. WE ate at Mikees, Lulu's, Lambert's, Doc's and Wintzel's with no wait times and wonderful gulf food. Come back to the Beach it is waiting for you.

We really did enjoy our stay. We were thereJune 19,2010 and it was a very pretty place that had everything that you would need. Robert the owner was very patient with all my questions and such a sweet man. We were there a week and we were on the beach in the water except for one day and that was because of rain. We had a great time and will be staying again at the same place. We stayed alot on the deck outside and it had a good view of the ocean. The condo was very clean and I would recommend this to anyone who don't want to spend alot of money and just relax and enjoy. The news people have really did a job on the oil scare. I;m so glad we ended up going. We seen a few tar balls, but nothing like i expected to see.

This was our 2nd year renting from these particular owners! Wonderful is all I have to say! The condo was clean and everything was perfect. The owners were available for anything...even my stupid questions! I didn't have to worry about anything. The beaches are great! DO NOT worry about the hype you here on TV about the oil spill. The beach was clean and the kids really enjoyed themselves. They even freaked out when they saw fish swimming right by them! I will definately come back. It IS a home away from home!!

My mother, myself, my daughter and her 2 kids stayed in this condo and had a wonderful time!! The owners were great to work with, the condo was neat & clean & had everything we needed & was plenty of room for the 5 of us. The kids loved the Arcade down the road & there were plenty of nice restaurants nearby. It isn't facing the ocean but the balcony has a great view of it so that was ok. Would definitely recommend this condo & we will be back!!

My family and I chose this property for our Spring Break Vacation and were very pleased. It was very clean upon our arrival. The heated pool and jacuzzi was a warm welcome from the cool Spring breezes outside. The facility as a whole was very well kept and we really enjoyed the use of the outdoor grill! We plan to return during the warmer weather so we can enjoy the beach more! We felt so at home our entire stay. Thank you to the owners!

We just got back from a wonderful week at your Condo. Both of you guys were very attentive to our needs and great to work with! Our family of six enjoyed walking and running on the beach, building sand castles, swimming in the salt water pool and the great home away from home your condo gave us. The kitchen was very well equipped. We appreciated the book with the information in it, expecially the local restaurants' menus. We felt like we had a private pool and whirlpool. Very neat and clean condo with everything a person needs to be comfortable. Condo is right on the beach so beach access is convenient. Nice pool and deck area and the condo is conveniently located very close to shopping and restaurants. The owners are very nice and pleasant to deal with as well. Would reccomend to anyone.

My sister-in-law and our 3 teenagers enjoyed our stay at your condo very much. The covered parking kept our car cool when we were ready to head out for an excursion...the condo was very clean and well-kept..had a tv in both bedrooms which was a must with that many teens..the beach was beautiful and our weather was perfect!! My wife, our two teenage sons and I really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The condo was clean and well maintained. It was so enjoyable to just walk out of the building and be one the beach. And when the weather wasn't so nice, we enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool and the hot tub. We would definitely stay here again if we are vacationing in the area.
