  What a way to bring in the New Year and close out 2008! The condo is fabulous! We had a great stay here. Everything one needs is here. The view is spectacular & whale watching was great! We had family in 3 of your condos and everyone enjoyed their stay! Jeevan, Canada.

  We so wish we could stay here another week. Thank you so much for the use of your lovely apartment, most especially for the wonderful view. We were so lucky to see whales and dolphins virtually every day. We hope to be back before long. Tina, London.

  Mahalo for everything, Kathy and David. Your condo was so beautiful and comfortable and we had a great time here! We did some very interesting hiking to the Nakalele blow hole up north - it is an other-worldly landscape. The sound of the waves was lovely here and we truly enjoyed our stay in Number 708.   We had a wonderful holiday here. Thanks, Kathy, for providing such a beautiful condo for us. We learned to BBQ and ate on the lanai beside the sea and watched the sun set between the islands. It was fantastic. We liked the pool and spa, the beach, the view.. well, everything. Thanks, Kathy. It was the perfect holiday and honeymoon. (I also wrote thank you in Chinese in your guest book!).   This was our third time to Maui and our first time staying at the Mahana. Our condo was perfect with wonderful sunset views. We had great weather with only one day of rain! We loved BBQing fresh fish and huli hilli chicken, the kids loved the beach and the pool. We explored other beaches too. There is so much to do here. We love it and can't wait to come back!   We had to wait 10 months for our honeymoon, but it was all worth it when stepped into your beautiful condo! So nicely furnished with everything we could possibly need. It was bliss to come home after a day of exploring! Highlights included our first helicopter ride, Haleakala, Paia.. But mostly we'll remember watching the sunset from the lanai and waking to the sound of the waves. The views are just incredible. We even saw an early whale breaching one morning. We return home with replenished souls and a vow to return to the paradise of Maui. Many thanks. Brad & Kelly, Canada.

  Hi Kathy. Just wanted to let you know what a great time my husband and I had staying in #708. I wrote in the guest book but don't know when you will actually be able to read it.. My husband could not stop saying, "I can't believe this condo.. it's perfect." I have to agree! The condo was beautiful and every day when we returned from our adventures, it was awesome to come back to such a nice, clean beautiful condo and still feel like you were enjoying the beautiful scenery and sounds of the waves outside because of the floor to ceiling windows and lanai. We just loved calling 708 our home for 11 days and I hope that we can return next year and stay in 708 again! Lynn & Jim, Washington

  Though by no means my first trip to Hawaii or Maui, it was my first non-hotel vacation and the Mahana Number 708 has spoiled me permanently. From the "surf at my bedside" location and beautiful vista to the well-stocked kitchen and in-suite laundry, you have provided everything for your guests' comfort and enjoyment. And for the solo voyager, this is just the right size, neither too small nor too large..just right! Aloha and mahalo, Lucinda, Ohio.

  Kathy, it was a pleasure meeting you this week at the Mahana. All of your condos are beautiful. We sincerely enjoyed our stay in #708.   It was like a home away from home with a fabulous views. I enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and privacy - away from the crowds and noise of the Kaanapali hotel scene. The amenities and space are far more accommodating than other hotels nearby. I'm so glad I found you and your place. I would totally come back and stay again. Bob & Esther, Washington

  Your lovely condo suited us very well! We loved all the updates - everything - our favorites were the Asian touches, the lanai, the new high tech washer dryer. It all made for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. And of course the view was fabulous!   Aloha!!!! We loved Mahana #708! The condo was lovely, Dick is still raving about the shower!! I loved the stars from the lanai at night, you could almost touch them. Our last day, we saw an entire rainbow over the ocean. We thought it was a sign we'd be back. We just can't thank you enough!! Virginia and Dick P.S.   We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here in Maui and are hoping to come back to 708 again soon. Highlights definitely have been snorkelling at Kapalua and Napili Bay and lunches at Seahouse and Hula Grill. Our stay in your comfy condo has been the best with the breathtaking view - so wish we could stay here longer. Thank you once again for letting us stay in your beautiful place.   Our end of April trip to Maui was our planned wedding and honeymoon on this beautiful island. If that wasn’t exciting enough our mouths dropped as we walked through the front door of #708 and saw the breathtaking view. We saw the last of the whales before they headed north to Alaska and couldn’t believe our eyes when saw the largest turtle ever right in front of our condo. What’s we loved about this condo was being able to go out all day and experience the island, come home tired and be refreshed just by walking through the front door.   It was our second visit to the Mahana. We love it here! Number 708 is paradise – thank you for sharing it with us. It was so wonderful to see our “Alaska” whales every day and know that in a very short time they would be making the journey back and we will get to enjoy them all over again!   We stayed in #708 in March. Loved the top-knotch condo - the view is unbelievable. It was exciting to see so many whales - a highlight of our trip. The location is fantastic, the beach, the pool and the friendly people. We hope to come back to Maui and your wonderful condo soon! Dellie, Michigan

  Kathy: The Mahana complex, and your unit #708 have been awesome! Everyone talks about the view here, but until you are actually in your condo- it really can't. Sandy, Minnesota be explained. Everything is so nicely appointed, and the furnishings are lovely for a rental. The bed is soooo comfy. Thank you for everything!!! Sandy, Minnesota

  We stayed at the Mahana in #708 from February 5 to 14th. I looked around at other facilities and other Mahana units. I will rent again from Kathy & David. The complex is closer to the beach than any you will find. The beach is simply uninhabited. Once you get to the Mahana you could do it without a car. There is, however, plenty of free parking. Abundant low traffic jogging areas, a grocery store, deli, fish market and everything else you need is about a five minute walk. There is a shuttle to Lahaina. The whales in February were outstanding. Unit 708 is fantastic. (All units have floor-to-ceiling windows) The unit has a full kitchen, king size bed, new washer and dryer and a full kitchen. Virtually every pot, pan utensil, blender, coffee pot, toaster and gadget you could imagine is there. I am a cook. Nothing is missing! Actually, I would call Unit 708 unbelievable! Gene, Washington

  Without a doubt #708 was one of the best condos we stayed in. The view is breathtaking. Cozy beds, nice balcony, thoroughly memorable. The views! Wow! One of the best vacations we have had in our lifetimes. There were a lot of first time experiences: snorkeling, diving at Molikini, most of all swimming with the dolphins (which was rare even for the people who took us there). Overall 5 out of 5, loved it! Denny & Jennifer, Maryland
