My wife and I are just now wrapping up a month of staying in Lake Placid. It was beyond what we hoped for in a location. The space has everything you could possibly want: * You can walk to a bite to eat, cup of coffee, couple of beers. * Quick access to trails, biking, running, swimming. * The space is clean, new, modern and spacious. We just told Jackie to keep the deposit for a stay next summer. Plus, Jackie is always around if you need anything. (Including some great biking recommendations).
Recommended for:Adventure seekers.

The pictures on here do not do the place justice!! The master bedroom and bath are a work of art! My buddies and I were calling it our villa in lake placid! Gorgeous kitchen and comfortable living room! We will be back! Honestly I didn't want to leave

The pictures don't do this place justice. The rental is the entire second story of a huge 1920s craftsmen style home, with private entrance and lots of parking. The space is really huge, 2000 sq ft, and is steps away from downtown Lake Placid and the dog friendly, family friendly, athlete friendly beach at Mirror Lake. It's big, open and beautiful with commercial grade awesome viking oven, master shower bathroom and walk in closets in all 3 bedrooms. The house also has 2 living spaces, both with fold out couches, flat screen TVs, a DVD Player, washer/dryer, wifi and a terrace with nice gas BBQ. It's extremely functional. Moreover, the furniture and decoration are tasteful and comfortable. We'll definitely be back. Thanks Jack!
