In 10 minutes, you are at the Deer Valley Gondola (Deer Valley was again voted the number one Ski Resort in the Country) within 15 minutes you can experience the world famous Park City which features skiing, snowboarding, sledding and tubing. Other attractions include 20 minutes to The Canyons Skiing, 17 minutes to Sundance Skiing, 20 minutes to Daniels Snow Mobiling, Park City Main Street (location of the Sundance Film Festival), mountain biking, hiking, outdoor concerts, exquisite restaurants, festivals, and the famous Olympic parks. In 5 minutes you are at Soldier Hollow with cross-country skiing, sledding, tubing, golf, hot air ballooning, rafting, horseback riding. There is also a state of the art fitness center close to the house and several great restaurants and 2 big Supermarkets (Smiths and Days Markets).
Whether you want to enjoy mountain views, a roaring fire, or your favorite DVD, this home has it all. The rooms are generously proportioned so everyone can spread out. There are two comfortable living rooms, and a separate library/sitting room. Several sitting areas with 5 televisions, a deck, and a large Gazebo with a Jacuzzi, allows everyone to find a place to relax and visit with friends and family.
One unique hot-spring, called "The Crater" allows for scuba diving year around with a water temperature of 90 degrees. Also close by are two lakes, Jordenelle and Deer Creek Reservoirs, which are popular spots for fishing and water sports.
For those of you who can’t leave the office behind, we have wireless internet service throughout the house, also a laptop and a printer.

We chose this particular location because of its easy access to/from an International Airport and the availability of year round outdoor activities.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The property is spacious with an open floor plan with space to spread out. We enjoy the opportunity to ski at Sundance, Deer Valley, Park City, and The Canyons. The 2 weeks of the Sundance Film Festival is especially enjoyable. Mountain biking and hiking in the mountains; concerts at Deer Valley; golf at Soldier Hollow, Wasatch State Park, and Homestead; boating and jet skiing at Deer Crest and the Jordanelle; snomobiling at Danials Summit near Strawberry.

We are airline employees who love to travel. We found Salt Lake City to be the easiest airport to travel in and out of with car rental conveniently located at the airport. Several ski resorts are within a 40 minute drive from the airport. We chose to focus on the eastern side of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains ... where The Canyons, Park City and Deer Valley resorts are located. This location is excellent for outdoor activities in any season, not just the winter.

Amazing Home for our Utah Vacation

We spent the week between Christmas & New Year's at your beautiful home. It was spacious, wonderfully decorated, fully stocked with towels, pillows, blankets, kitchen ware, etc... The house was perfect for two families of 5; we have 6 very active children. There were plenty of televisions, bathrooms, beds, and the basement was an incredible mini-apartment for one of the families. The hot tub was fantastic and a nice end to a long day of skiing. There was a gondola directly to the slopes only 8 miles away; and they stored our skis/poles for us! So convenient! The little town was adorable and after skiing we went to the local ice cream shop for yummy shakes, burgers & fries. We had an amazing vacation and would book again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much!

We rented this house for the week of July 4th as a gathering place for our Children and Grandchildren--the location was fabulous! We were so close to biking, hiking, water sports, the Heber Valley Historic Railway (which the grandkids loved) and more. The communities of Heber City and Midway have a wonderful July forth celebration which we enjoyed to the fullest. There was something for everyone, pancake breakfast, an art contest and show--most depicting local scenes which were beautiful--live music throughout the day and craft and food booths. The house has a clear view of Freedom mountain where the fireworks display was launched so we were able to put the little ones to bed and enjoy the fireworks from the backyard! With five bedrooms we had plenty of room for all. Small-town charm, newer modern home and plenty to do--we loved it!

For years three generations of our family has been traveling to Aspen for our annual ski trip. Having less time to be away this year, we thought we would try Utah since we could get a direct flight. I expected to be somewhat disappointed in terms of accommodations and the quality of the skiing. I couldn't have been more wrong on both counts. The skiing (especially for different age groups) was wonderful and the Yoder Home is lovely, warm, inviting, spacious and convenient. We could not have been happier and I guess the best recommendation I could give is "we will return". Thanks for everything, Maureen.

Maureen, we had a great time in Utah. The house exceeded our best expectations and we enjoyed staying there a lot. The house was very clean and there was enough space to accommodate a large group of adults with teenagers. The downstairs area with the kitchen was great and we had a wonderful time when we gathered there for meals and evening activities. Jordanelle gondola is only a 10 minute drive from the house and using it made it quite simple to access Deer Valley for all of us who were at different levels of skiing. We will definitely recommend your house to our friends and consider staying in it next time we go to Utah. We really enjoyed skiing at Deer Valley.

We had a wonderful time visiting Utah and we couldn’t have been happier with the house. The house is obviously very beautiful, decorated very nicely and the view is breathtaking (We don’t have any mountains here in Florida, so I am always in awe!). The way the house is set up worked well for us as it allowed our group (8 adults & 2 infants) to spread out on the various levels when we needed space but come together as a group for meals and evening activities. The downstairs space was very nice to have at our disposal and the bedroom downstairs was a great refuge after full days of skiing and snowboarding. The hot tub was great and we enjoyed it daily, especially after consecutive days on the slopes. Overall the house was just great, the neighborhood was very quiet, the amenities (TV, satellite, internet, games, and books) were great and I would say that my expectations were exceeded. Overall, I would say that your home is a wonderful value and we would stay there again if we ever have the pleasure of being back in the Deer Valley area. We had a great time and I will definitely recommend your home in the future. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable. Take care.

Hi Maureen We had a great trip to your area. Had lots of fun skiing, and using the Jordanelle gondola made it quite simple to access Deer Valley. Your home was wonderful. It’s easy to see that you take pride in your property. Your home has marvelous living areas, which make it perfect for larger groups, and I would think especially for groups with children. I have already shared info re: your property with several friends, and I would certainly consider your property for my next trip to the Park City area. Bill and I have golfed in Midway in the past, and have talked about putting together a group for a golf trip back to the Midway-Heber City area. Again, a good time was had by all, and your home added to our enjoyment.

STAYING AT YOUR BEAUTIFUL HOME HAS BEEN ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL OF YOUR SHAMPOOS, SOAP, ETC. EVEN THOUGH WE BROUGHT "EVERYTHING", OF COURSE WE FORGOT SOME OF THOSE THINGS! Hi, Maureen. I just wanted to let you know that we had a great time in Utah (got home last night). The house was great, we enjoyed everything, and it was so easy skiing in Deer Valley starting on the Jordanelle side! I think we left everything in order; thank you for a great stay. We ate at the Spin Cafe and the Spicy Lady, went tubing at Soldier Hollow, and even discovered the fantastic community pool in Kamas. You have done a great job with the house -- it was perfect for us, and we'll contact you again next year!
