The Red Lodge Hideaway is the perfect four season family vacation located in scenic Red Lodge at the base of Montana's breathtaking Beartooth Mountains. Its wonderful location offers panoramic views from the peaceful front porch, and is just minutes from hiking, fishing, golf at an 18-hole championship course, and skiing at Red Lodge Mountain Resort.

Red Lodge Hideaway is located just off the Beartooth Highway, which during the summer months is a gateway to YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK. The Beartooth Highway was labeled by Charles Kurault as "the most scenic drive in America," and is truly an engineering marvel.

The Hideaway offers a chance to enjoy the essence of Montana, from the quaint shops and restaurants in Red Lodge to the majesty of the Beartooth Mountains. With its great location, Red Lodge Hideaway is a wonderful spot for a peaceful summer getaway, or a terrific winter ski lodge. It truly is a piece of paradise!

  • Our experience at the Red Lodge Hideaway cabin at the base of the Beartooth Mountains was a very memorable one for our family. It was so clean and inviting with great décor and in such a beautiful location. The fireplace made it cozy and the beds were comfortable. We were grateful for the selection of movies available. There was plenty of room for a large family and we are hoping to use it again in the near future. It is close to the Red Lodge Mountain Ski Resort which our son enjoyed immensely. The huge herd of elk located nearby was icing on the cake.

  • Jim said he would be willing to rent the cabin again. Everyone commented on how well equipped it was. We really enjoyed our time in Red Lodge. I think you have done a wonderful job furnishing and decorating the cabin. I'm hoping to get a nice watercolor of the cabin done sometime and will send you a copy if it turns out.   • The Red Lodge Hideaway offered everything our group wanted. We fished 4 different rivers all within an hour’s drive. The cabin was roomy, clean and comfortable. The scenery is outstanding, and the cabin is located close to town and the mountains.

  • We have stayed at several homes in Red Lodge over the years and even though we love the area, we always had some "complaint" about our accomidations, such as cleanliness or not feeling like the home lived up to the description given. This was NOT the case here. We walked in and fell in love with the homey, warm atmosphere! The cabin was spotless and everything needed for our comfort was available. With the full basement there was lots of room for our 3 teenagers to spread out and have space to themselves. The owners are wonderful to work with and truly care about their cabin and your stay. We highly recommend this cabin!!

  • We were very comfortable at the cabin, it is very cozy and warm no matter what the temp. outside. The cabin was very well stocked with every necessity and more. There was a good feeling of sharing and generosity with regard to the "extra" kind of items that were in the cabin. The water pressure was great and the septic system seemed able to keep up with the number of guests. The cabin is in a location convenient both for getting to town and the skihill. This cabin is well cared for and loved. If you are a group capable of respecting that, than it is a wonderful warm getaway. Thanks Dave and Anita for good communication and a fair contract.
