  Wish I could think of something to say that has not been written previously! However, I will reiterate what a wonderful vacation this was for our family. The condo was more than we could have possibly hoped for (though the pictures are lovely, nothing compares to the actual feel of it), and all the arrangements Ron helped us with during our stay made it so easy to navigate the town and the available amenities we probably would not have found on our own. We were 5 adults, my husband and 3 grown children in their mid-20's so needed to be able hang together, cook, play games, have areas to get away from each other, enjoy the town, lots of beach activities and especially hangout and be a family together. Needless to say, this condo was our little slice of heaven on a long anticipated escape. There was plenty of room, with the bedrooms being large and airy as well as the main room with kitchen/dining all open and always bellowing with beautiful ocean breezes. The sweet woman who came daily to clean up and take care of things was delightful and quite a bonus, can't recall name properly now or then as I was the one in the group with the language barrier! This beach area has huge waves and loud surfs which we love so everyone was happy. Won't go on and on as everyone else has already appropriately verbalized the value and luxury this home offers. But, wanted to say the condo was one of the best things about us getting together on this trip, Ron and Bette's hands on approach to educating their guest and making sure they were equipped and prepared was the next best thing! .   This penthouse is absolutely beautiful. When we walked in the penthouse for the first time we were just taken back by the beautiful view of the ocean. This penthouse is spacious and beautifully decorated. There is no doubt that the owners put a lot of time into making this the most beautiful place for an amazing home away from home! It is definitely a WOW!!! Ron, the owner, advised and suggested many things to do. We really appreciated all the suggestions because it made for a wonderful time. Ron hooked us up with Carlos for transportation to and from the airport. He sent one of his drivers, Roberto to pick us up at the airport in Santiago. Roberto was so sweet and stopped along the way so I could take pictures of this beautiful country! I only wish he spoke English but we still enjoyed him...somehow we communicated. The 2nd day we were there we met Wilson, a friend of Ron's. We really enjoyed our adventures with Wilson. We loved the River tour which included lunch...Dominican style. It was fantastic!!! On the Friday before we headed home Wilson took us on a mini tour of parts of the Dominican Republic. Fascinating to say the least. We visited one of the public schools, a small town, a coffee plantation, blue lagoon, several different beaches, waterfalls. At the end of the day Wilson's family cooked us a "dominican republic" dinner at the penthouse. An end to a beautiful day! Saturday we rode horses on the beach...so much fun! The restaurants the owner suggested were wonderful. My favorite was Ali's Surf and Casida di Pipi. I loved walking on the beach in Cabarete through all the restaurants. There are so many choices you will not be disappointed. If you visit Cabarete in the Dominican Republic you will not be disappointed if you stay at this beautiful Penthouse because Ron, the owner will make sure you have the most wonderful vacation!!! We can't wait to come back to this beautiful place!!! Thank you Ron!!!

  Six women rented this amazing condo for a 7 night stay in Cabarete. This place is awesome!! The high ceilings and spaciousness lent itself perfectly to having six fairly high maintenance women in the same dwelling for that many days. The master bedroom is especially nice including a Jacuzzi bath in the master bathroom. We were picked up at the airport by Carlos- who was very charming and spoke English. This had been arranged for us by Ron and Carlos was waiting with a sign so that was a nice welcome after our day in the air. He stopped with us at Janet’s to exchange our money and to pick up some necessities for the first night. He then spent some time with us giving us some local information before he headed out with the promise that he would collect us for the ride back to the airport. We wandered around the condo in awe and sat on the balcony enjoying the beautiful view. We have stayed in many condos that we rented through this website in many different places and this was by far the most beautiful one. The pictures are completely accurate. It was well stocked including a blender and wine and bottle openers. There are plenty of plastic glasses as well to take to the pool. The first night we went to Papi’s, another suggestion by Ron, and had a delicious meal and a very fun experience on the beach. We took a cab to town that first evening. We just walked to the main gate and security called us a cab. The drivers are so nice and anxious for business so we arranged for our driver to pick us up at an appointed time and sure enough he was waiting for us. The cab was less than $6. (240 pesos) to get to the middle of town and some other cabs throughout the week charged even less but we always just gave 300 pesos throwing a tip in for good measure. Most of the time we walked to town either on the beach or the street. One of the women however preferred hopping on the motor scooters and got to town for less than 100 pesos. You can walk to town on the beach during the day. But it can be an adventure depending on the tide. I would not recommend it if you are not willing to get wet and if you have any issues with mobility or are wearing good clothes. The first time we walked was high tide and it was one of the most adventurous times we had and a million laughs, but we did get very wet and it was not without some shrill screams and such when the tide came in.   5 stars is our collective rating for this vacation property! 5 of us (adults) stayed very comfortably and we are now just home (to Canadian snow) wondering when we should plan to go back. We are most appreciative of all the arrangements and advice offered, by Ron, the property owner. We advise welcoming his assistance with service suggestions and arrangements for a stress-free holiday. Words alone won’t describe all the happy memories of the week, but we have many pictures and video too. The pictures provided here of the condo are entirely accurate. We did a bit of a recap during our flight home. Condo highlights included: - a great balcony view of the ocean and fresh sea breeze. - a large and well equipped kitchen to work in, - very comfortable bedrooms with AC and ceiling fans, - wireless internet access, - the R&R of a location, just sufficiently removed from the active village core. In summary, excellent luxury condo and property facilities, excellent owner advice and friendly and dedicated service people all around. This is certainly a wonderful country to visit and offers more than we could take in in one week. We will be back.

  Our week with our friends was a slice of heaven. My husband and I were so enamored with this beautiful and charming condo. N3 (which by the way has the most beautiful enchanting view from the balcony.).You will not be disappointed with the beauty of such a remote town. We were amazed to think we could have it all view, pool, ocean, serenity and what else just 2 minutes to the beach,, The owner, Ron was on top of everything. He paid particular attention to the details. We will return in a heartbeat..

  This is our 2nd time staying at Ron and Bette's place in Cabarete and like the first time it was a WOW vacation from the moment we arrived. Beginning with the warm welcome from his driver Carlos to the opening of the front door to this truly magnificant condo to the adventures we experienced with Wilson who took us on two excursions that gave us truly a first hand experience of this beautiful Island. Ron handled everything, making sure we had all the information needed to give us plenty to see and do including a list of their favorite restaurants which as it turns out are our favorites as well.   If you are going to the DR this is the PERFECT place. It is located close to town and easy to get around town. Cabarete is very safe and the locals are wonderful. The penthouse is even more beautiful than the pictures on this site. It is very spacious and while on vacation you have the comforts of home. The owners go out of their way to help you with all the information and are always available on a moments notice. The beach in front of the property is wonderful and we spent much time on our own private beach and swimming. I could go on and on about how wonderful it is---we have gone on many vactions and have stayed at places such as the Four Seasons so are used to top notch vacations and this was one of our best vacations we had. The entire family had a great time!!!!!

  We had an amazing time in your condo! Plenty of room for a family of five with three teenagers. Ron, you have been a pure joy through this entire process. This is our first time using vrbo and you made this one of our family's all time favorites. Your recommendations were perfect. From the rental car pickup at the airport... to Wilson's Tours... to our last night restaurant recommendations... everything was so helpful. Here were our favorites of the week... Excursions (Blue Lagoon) This was a full day immersion into the DR culture. A tour through a family's plantation, five different beaches, water caves, waterfalls, and great food. Wilson takes you through the countryside and shoreline out to Blue Lagoon and makes multiple stops along the way to see, touch, and feel the greatness of his island. Loved it! Restaurants (Bliss) Our favorite by far! This quaint pristine setting is a respite from the party scene on the beach. A perfect getaway for a final night with first class service and five star cuisine. We did it with the whole family but I'm sure this is paradise for couple's who want private time as well. Favorite Food (Papi's Lobster) Served two different styles. This is pure Dominican flavor. The chef even made my wife , who is allergic to fish, a special plate and then joined us to toast that she lived. Very fun! Favorite Accommodations Ron and Bette's Penthouse... we looked at different places up and down the island and even a few of the hotels and we couldn't think of a better place for our family. This truly was a special vacation for all of us. Thanks again for all of your assistance in making it so easy.

  My husband and two pre-teens along with my brother and wife just got home from Ron and Bette's place in Cabarete. It was our 4th trip to their condo and as always it was the best. I don't think I will ever get used to the fantastic panarama, the spaciousness of the condo and everything else that goes along with a vacation at their place. Ron is so thorough with updates on the goings on around town, new restaurants and things like this. He is really concerned with us having the best time, that he devotes this energy to sending all sorts of great places to visit and relax. Thanks again Ron and Bette for sharing your beautiful place with us!. We will be back next year for sure,

  We just returned from a week in the Condo. Property is as described and was truly exceptional with an unobstructed view of the ocean. Balcony is a true asset as you can host wonderful dinners outside. Very spacious and well appointed we enjoyed sunny and open concept of the living space. We were particularly impressed with the owner's helpful hints and recommendations. Carlos, who works with the owner, was excellent and helped us out tremendously - he was puntual and reliable. We rented his car for the week and it was cheap and very useful. Many thanks and would return...tomorrow!
