Welcome to our home and your vacation spot!
The architecture of the house reflects the Polish highlander style: interior and exterior tastefully finished in wood, stylish windows, stone fireplace; all this makes the house a cozy retreat.
The house is very spacious. The floor plan allows for space and intimacy for a larger group of people. The first floor offers an open living room, connected with a dining room, library and a kitchen, all wrapped around a stone woodburning fireplace. There is also a full bathroom, a half bath and a laundry area.
The second floor features five bedrooms; four with double beds and one with a single bed. All bedrooms are furnished with dressers, hangers, tables and chairs. There is also a full bathroom and a TV/sitting area. The attic offers an open floor plan with several beds and a full bathroom... a perfect setup for a group of kids wanting to hang out together.
The house is situated near Krzeptowki Street, within a walking distance to the city center, only minutes away from the Tatra National Park, and most notably some of its most beautiful valleys such as Strazyska Valley, Small Meadow Valley and several others. There is a grocery store, a coffee shop, a post office and a church; all within a walking distance. Krupowki street is just a short walk away. There you'll find street performers, craft shops, fine restaurants and attractions galore!
Ski lifts abound in the area and many other attractions are available, such as sleigh rides, horseback riding, rock climbing, rafting in the Pieniny area on the Dunajec river, visiting Cracow to view its glorious past and thriving academic and cultural spots.

We stayed in this beautiful home for 3 nights in May. When we arrived we all were in awe of how lovely this home truly is. The owners greeted us with a delicious pastry which was a welcome sight. This home is very large, but also very cozy. The living room/sun room has so much charm. We got a fire going and enjoyed the warmth. The bedrooms are huge and the 3rd floor is an amazing place....especially if you have kids. Our 2 children loved running from one end to the next. The kitchen is fully stocked with any needed pots/pans/utensils etc. You couldn't ask for nicer amenities. We've stayed in multi-million dollar homes in the Outer Banks and this rivals it, no question. We managed to take a hike behind the home along a ridge. We saw fields of sheep and the sheep herders! My kids loved the goats across the street too. We also ventured into town and walked the streets. Zakopane can appeal to all senses....nature, hiking, and also plenty of shopping and restaurants. You cannot go wrong with this rental. Simply put it's fantastic. I can only hope to return again someday (next time to ski!!!!!) Amanda (from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania)

It was my second time back in Zakopane for snowboarding and this house just made our trip!Its such a warm comfortable home and the owners made us feel right at home and so welcome there. We had everything we needed in the house and wanted for nothing the entire time. One of the main slopes is only a short walk from the house and a short spin away from the main street. The house is perfectly located, right near shops and restaurants and a bus-stop right outside. I would recommend this home to anyone, from a group of friends to families and cannot wait to get back there :)

The warmth of this lovely, comfortable home in Zakopane captured our hearts, especially the welcoming of its fabulous hosts! Quietly, wonderfully located and accessible to picturesque nature walks, traditional restaurants and a short ride away to the main city area, it's a true gem in magical Polska we are sure to return to in the future. Dzienkujemy bardzo za wszystko!
